Now, to a level 10, this is a lot of money and some good gear. I was happy with what I got! Time passed, levels increased, stats improved, wars were fought. If you remember the very first post, AnusOfSatanus mentioned low pay for 190 war hits. Well, that was me last July. In fact, I did a lot of hits for that war and the previous war. And my pay? 10m each (if I remember right). That's low, especially knowing what I know now, but the real poke in the eye? For each war I had to buy a couuple of DPs to pay for Xanax, points, and other supplies to participate at that level. I bought at DP per war to help us win. That ain't right, but I'm a team player and I wanted us to succeed. And what pokes the other eye? Our war rewards required a 50% tithing that went into Western's pocket. His net worth has skyrocketed over the last year. Our individual factions paid well with what was left, but we were running a race with one leg.
Now let's discuss training. I thought Xanax were precious so I didn't use them that often. We asked for Xanax directly from Western over Discord and, provided that we didn't ask again before we received a dose, we could have our next pill. Otherwise, it was a five day Xanax ban. So free Xanax came in a few times a week. Point refills were also too expensive, so they weren't an option for me. I didn't understand happy jumps yet. As a result, my battle stats didn't grow much. Steady but very slow.
The turning point was in July when they really started increasing. That's when I joined RA. My net worth did the same thing. Joining a high functioning faction was a game changer (no pun intended). I really don't think insignia is bad for very low level players, but by the time you hit about level 15, you really should look elsewhere for proper growth, education, and support.
Current insignia members: the upcoming raids are not to intended to punish you! They are not personal attacks, even if they come from some of your previous faction mates. They are intended to dismantle an exploitative organization that really isn't helping you as much as they can. Look through the faction recruiting forums and message other faction leaders. I promise you that no other faction leader will condescend or otherwise think badly of you for inquiring about their faction. You know how loyal you've been to Insignia? Think how much more loyal and excited they are about their factions. If you decide to stay with Insignia, that's fine! This is just a game and you can play it your way. But I know you'll enjoy it more playing with a more supportive faction, or at least one that can take you to the next level.
I'm always looking for ways to make my Torn experience better. So I'm looking for opinions to see if there's something I'm missing. You don't have answer all of these, I just want to know the Torn efficiency secrets you've learned during your Torn life 😉

Super obscure issue. While traveling I tried to access the Christmas Town page through a link on my browser history and expectedly I couldn't access Christmas Town. However I got an message box that the map I was on was not available, and the message text was truncated after two lines of text.
It appears that I'm missing the Devastation honor award. The description says it should be awarded when dealing at last 5k damage in a single hit. According to my stats, my best damage is 6,557. An I missing something?

I have three ways picked out. Used to be one then I picked up another one when we bought a house with a storm shelter in the detached garage. Earlier this year I asked Copilot several times in a row how many hydrocodone was a lethal dose. I had a bunch left over from my recent surgeries. As expected, AI was not as helpful as I needed it to be. Just kept telling me to call someone, bla bla bla. Last thing I wanted to do was pick up the phone and tell someone that I had a good run, but was now ready to check out of the Hotel California. Rather than risking not taking enough pills, I opted to mope and eventually go to sleep. The next day I tried number two: unclicked my seat belt while driving and waited for a large truck to come at me in the other lane. Didn't see one, but thought that if I was going fast enough a smaller truck would do. So I let go of the wheel. You know what saved me? The stupid lane assist in my car. It kept me between the lines. When I got home I gave my pills to my wife and asked her to throw them away. And I gave her one set of keys to the storm shelter and told her to hide them where I wouldn't find them. I know where the other set is. Interesting they make those so you can lock them from the inside. Who knew? So another night of moping and eventually falling asleep. Then every day after was a little better. I told a handful of trusted friends who (almost all of them) overwhelmingly gave me support. Interesting that two at work asked, "why are you telling us?" Sigh. Long story short, it must be obvious that I'm still here. The good drugs are good and therapy is better. And supportive friends are the best. Even ones in a silly text based game. Life still sucks, but at least I only have the desire to follow through with my fourth plan: die of old age.
Again sorry if that's triggering. I don't mean it to be. Also not looking for forum karma. I just want whoever needs to hear about this to know that it's okay to not be okay. It's possible that it will never be okay. Sometimes life sucks. And sometimes toxic people in your life are like social herpes: you never do completely get rid of them. But please don't let any of these things be the reason you give up. You're worthy of continuing to suck air. You deserve to live. You deserve to find people, situations, events, pets, hobbies, or SOMETHING that loves, supports, and appreciates having you in their life. There are people who are in your corner. And if you can't find any, I will be.

Same. I tried Ice Raven once and really couldn't tell the difference, so stayed with the nurse mature Firefox. I used Kiwi before Firefox (RIP Kiwi 😭). All that said, I really like to know how people set things up on mobile. What extensions do you use and what options do you find helpful. I enjoy tweaking the things. I used TornPDA for about a year and I really wanted to like it, but Torn Tools just seems to offer me a few additional nuggets that I don't get on PDA (like item value). And I don't like the tab system in PDA. And it's always seemed slower than TT on a mobile browser. First world problems here 🙄

I love how they're throwing around pennies and pretending they're dollars. So, members meet your financial demands as long as they pay you the profit they make from selling a single beer on the market per day? Oh, and some give you "weak donations ?" The amount of micromanagement it takes to try to run a faction like this just be soul crushing.
Your description says you offer territory control, chains, and war payouts.And yet your faction history shows zero activity in all of these categories. Trump is better at keeping campaign promises. I'll give you have on these points if they're goals you haven't met yet, but don't advertise that you offer them when you don't.
And I thought insignia factions were bad. They were malicious, this is just silly. My advice to those faction members is to stop paying your "fair daily dues (500-1000)" dues and whatever stop giving whatever good "donations" are. I've never heard of such a thing! Move on to almost any other active faction.
