I'm new to Torn and this is my first faction. Ever since I joined this faction, right away I was a member and treated as such. There are free giveaways on Discord sometimes, and monthly games to play in Torn with rewards. I am glad I was asked to join and said Yes.

As a new player, this idea makes sense to help established players make a larger income than newer players. Name recognition will have a greater value. Many factions already have traders, and newer factions will need a trader rather than Bazaar trading outpacing traders. Item scarcity within item market will raise prices to counteract listing price. Therefore you sell to your Bazaar friends cheaper and at item market more expensive most of the time. I could be wrong though and accept that.
