then perhaps - what if the labs and farms are set up in diff countries (prices dep on location ofc) so that those who fly over can buy it off other players in more quantities.
I thought it was cool to add to the trade economy. It can be something that new players can take part in as well - perhaps as a business.
btw I dont understand what you are trying to say by 'I get it. I used to smoke too, back when it was illegal. Just because it's a part of your life doesn't mean it has to permeate every single aspect of it.'.
I saw this idea in the New Player Chat but I thought that it should have been put here so that the whole community can decide....
What if we allowed players to own Weed Farms and make drugs in laboratories?
Maybe we could have it so that players can add a farm/lab in some properties as an additional upgrade - which then allows players to do more upgrades specific to that.
The lab or farm will then have an upkeep to pay everyday and will generate drugs depending on what it does - which can then be sold or used.
Another alternative...
Having an illegal business sector that may include weapons distribution, black market and any of the like alongside labs and farms to be made.
Naturally this facility would cost a lot of money to prevent the inflation of prices.
I think having a good discussion here would allow this to develop further...
Bank Interest is more long term and I would argue more secure in terms of profits. The Hedge Fund allows you to withdraw whenever you want and the main point of it is allowing loads of people to invest into stocks maximising merits and I will be handing them out in giveaways.
