v2 api says user profile karma should be a int32. But the API in reality might return decimal values like:

Instead of just fixing the description, could we have the icons endpoint actually return the private information if the custom key has the "icons" selection? 

 

This issue has made it so I can't have my users create a custom key, as that would completely break the use of my service (not returning correct stuff). They are forced to use a "full" key, as I need log selection for some things (thus a limited is not enough). I would prefer to make a custom key with just the selections I need, but this fights against that

There is a bug or a documentation error in the V2 user icons selection.

 

Documentation mentions "When requesting data for yourself with 'Custom', 'Limited' or 'Full' access keys, the response will be of type UserIconPrivate, otherwise UserIconPublic."

 

But if I use a custom key that is scoped to "icons" and I do a call to "/v2/user/icons" it returns me the public icons and not the private icons, contrary to what the documentation says.

 

This makes me unable to fetch the user's private icons in any way with a custom key, I am forced to use a limited or a full key.

 

 

 

How to replicate:

1. Create a limited key with https://www.torn.com/preferences.php#tab=api?step=addNewKey&title=IconsTestKey&user=icons
2. Do a call to https://api.torn.com/v2/user/icons 
3. It should return your private icons (per documentation), but it returns the public ones

Everything got fixed, not a single error anymore. Good job ched!

I can also vouch for this, since yesterday I have also noticed some API calls returning incomplete responses.

I have noticed this with user requests with big bazaars or when fetching faction data (with members). I have not yet figured out why and when this happens
