News Update on Attacking 2.0 :

I’m just a regular citizen like all of you but I have inside information about Attacking 2.0.

BE WARNED, this is a Spoiler Alert on future updates for Torn.

Attacking 2.0 What’s new?

Torn Citizens have complained that the current attacking process lacks some flair and excitement.

In future updates, we will implement a more exciting and innovative feature on the attack page.

ANIMATED CHARACTERS!

 ANIMATION! In my text-based game?. You’re Crazy. 

Ok Ok... Hear me out, I know this will take more bandwidth than necessary but it will definitely add some excitement to the game.

 Disclaimer: Animations will cost 10k points each. (Fart Animation is another additional 5k points)

Here you can see your character’s attack action and the enemy's getting hit.

Hi There!

This will be another point sink idea since points have been on the decline again. 

I got this idea from some previous suggestions for scratch cards in the Casino such as the following:

I'd like to suggest again another scratch card mini-game but this time in exchange for points:

-It will be located on the Points Building or Casino.

-This will give players a chance to get some Energy, Nerve or receive nothing at all.

For Concept:

1. First Scratch Card costs 30 points, Second Scratch Card costs 60 points. 
2. Only two Scratch Cards can be bought per day
3. You may also get Scratch Card Vouchers same as Energy and Nerve Refill from Torn Events or Subscriber Rewards
4. Rewards and Losses:

   1. 25 Energy to 50 Energy

   2. 25 Nerve to 50 Nerve

   3. Maybe a Big Prize for full Energy or Nerve Refill 

   4. Try Again
   5. Face Punch / Kick to the balls by Leslie???

It is me again, your humble shit poster official leaks source for current developments from Torn City.

Today, we provide some inside information on current developments on: “Eliminations Event”. Lord Chedburn announced on Announcements that they are refactoring Eliminations this year but didn’t provide anymore information about it. Yeah sucks.

But you are lucky dear reader as my leak source, who is of course a very trustworthy and very reliable mole have provided me with some relative information for your reading pleasure.

WARNING: THIS IS A SPOILER ALERT AND A LONG READ.

TLDR: NO.

INTRODUCTION:

As you may know, Eliminations for year 2024 has been cancelled due to various reasons as stated on this post.  

In reality, The Torn City Development Team has been actually developing a revamped version of Eliminations which I will now divulge here with 100% Legit Screenshots. This may cause me to be Fedded but bringing you information is more important. Please send me stuff.

So what’s new with the Elimination Event?

Players have called the previous Eliminations got boring as the event dragged on. So how can we make this event more exciting?

This year’s Eliminations will feature 3 Stages, each one will have different target and mechanics as the previous stages. From here on we will call these stages: “Acts”

Each “Act” will force you to be online will be a test of skill and willpower. It will take commitment to overcome and succeed in these acts.

ACTS? In my text-based MMORPG!! This is not Diablo!!

YES!!! Aside from usual smash and grab concept from previous Eliminations, This Acts will introduce something new in the gameplay mechanics. So it doesn’t get stale.

Ok! Enough of this foreplay! Show us what’s going to happen on Eliminations!!

Ok, Ok.. Take it easy! Jeezz. 

I. HOW DO I JOIN ELIMINATIONS?

On Event Day, The Eliminations can be accessed via your interface.

It is important that you have a heart symbol beside Eliminations or.. or…

I’m gonna cry. Make sure you have it.

As per previous Eliminations on which I have not joined last year because it was cancelled so I don’t have a freakin idea what happens or what the mechanics are, You can choose to join a team.

As per our leak source, a total of 500 teams will be made available. So why is only 5 here?. Because I got lazy of thinking of new team names. So why is Chuck Norris’ Team allowed only 1 member? Do you really have to ask??

Upon joining a team, you can then now join an Act on which the first one is unlocked and you are all set! Event start times still applies.

Also as per our reliable leak source, If this year’s Eliminations is a success, Eliminations for Year 2026 will feature Ten (10) Acts and the Eliminations Event will be a Two (2) Month long event from September to October.

II. ELIMINATIONS EVENT

As soon as the Eliminations start, the first Act will begin.

Act I. Green Light and Red Light

Mechanics:

-Green Light and Red Light will turn on at Random Times of the day. An event will trigger when this happens.

-During Green Light phase, you are free run or move.

-Your target for the first act will be to get to the finish line.

-On your interface a toggle can be accessed to make your character run.

-Your team gains distance while your toggle is on Run at a rate of 1 meter per hour-ish.

-However, This toggle will go to stand if you are hospitalized or jailed and can only be toggled again if you get out of the hospital.

GREEN LIGHT! f**k it!! RUN!!!

On Red Light phase, moving or attacking will hospitalize your player.

So what do I do during this phase?. Touch grass, eat lunch or shitpost on GD. Who cares?

Or do some insane dance moves.

ACT II. Group Up

Mechanics:

-This Act will consist of 3 Rounds.

-All players will be positioned on a turning carousel.

-There will be rooms you can enter on the side.

-A number of players per room will be announced at the start of the round. If a room is short or exceeds this number after the self-destruct timer goes off. Those players are eliminated.

-Anyone still on the Carousel after the self-destruct timer goes off will be hospitalized.

-Once you enter a room you can’t get out.

Noticed something? The wheel isn’t turning exactly on center. Weird..

Entering a room will trigger an event. Attack other players to ensure the correct number of players are in the room.

Attack and Discuss with your team if necessary.

This act will eliminate Teams who holds no or the least rooms as shown on percentage at the Act 2 Lobby.

ACT III. THE FINAL FACE-OFF

Mechanics:

- Hit Enemy Team Players and Collect a certain items

- If you get hit, you lose that item for a random number from 5-10.

- Once you lose all of that item, you cannot gain any more of that item. But you can still attack other teams.

- Team that gets the most of this item, Wins Elimination! Hooray!
