Honestly, as someone who started fresh and never knew about Torn; the DPs are great for low levels! They're very cheap and keep Torn running as a whole and depending on what you do with your donator pack affects your outcome; you could easily put one on the item market and make close to $35-40M. Even in the future, it's still cheap and worth it even if you're level 100, in my opinion.
I think it's great but then again, $5.00 USD is still a lot in todays age, F2P is definitely achievable but that consicous feeling of knowing five bucks will progress you overall makes you give in or think about it.
