But what about ur Torn friends? This post will not be well written, but it will be written from the heart.
A couple months ago, when TornCon Boston was announced, a certain Duck who's name is the sound he makes, said he would try to come down to America for the con. Which of course, I couldn't keep a secret and then told some more torn friends, and we decided even if Kwack didn't show, we would hang out at mine. And that turned into having a cookout one night, so the people closer (1 hour drive) could come hang out for a while too, and eat good food- shouts out to mikE. And everyone that said they would come, showed :D
I will admit to writing this post because I want to brag about how cool my friends are, and how much fun we had (they are, and we did), but I think the best part to me was how many people told me they felt comfortable and had a good time. Being from the south, that's VERY important to me- my mother would be so proud. (Speaking of, she drove up from a different state a few hours just to meet some of my friends one day and take us out to lunch and to thrift and antique stores, was really neat.)
Anywhozal, I just wanted to tell all u torn folk I'm thankful i found this place when i did, and I'm thankful to friends who traveled so far just to come hang out with me, after all the hours playing games, and sitting in VCs. It was REALLY amazing to meet everyone in person. For those that couldn't make it this year, I'll leave u with a couple links to pictures-

I wanna thank everyone who raced with us these past few months, its been a fun time sending out prizes, which wouldnt have been possible without Potoo's help, and the final prizes were donated by Christof, I appreciate all the help I've had with this silly little tournament.

i did steal one to send it to Potoo, but without him these literally wouldnt have happened- I would have never remembered on my own.

yeah, debating if I'll travel there and find a place, or just stay home 😅 mostly depends on outside factors as to what I'll be able to do. but either way gonna do something either the week before or the week after, depending on other people's schedules. 😊
