why ever not?
Do you think that the good players of Torn are the sort that might revel in crushing a weaker individual because they asked a question about a mechanic of the game?
why would anyone ever bait trolls.....

actually I was more curious then agitated, if growing the user base is the games designer's goal then this is a barrier (albeit a low one) to newer user participation, but it may be more fun for higher level (and therefore subscribers) to squish lower level players.

Ohadik,
I see you are of the philosophy that bad things only happen to bad people..... Actually given the premise of Torn that kind of makes sense in here.

Hi Lane,
you seem weirdly upset, are you also being hospitalized?

this is amazing!!! free stuff, why on earth doesn't the real economy's billionaires do this?
Sure, that could be, I should dump my player logs in here and see if someone can identify the behavior:
Also I suspect that based on the format for this game it attracts a individuals who are looking for an outlet for behaviors that might be slightly less acceptable in other places.
This also made me laugh: "Someone has placed a bounty on you with a reward of $100,000 and the reason: Avoiding hospital"

you see these are my favorite comments, they are actually funny
or maybe I am just someone seeking out information about the relevant rate of trolling behaviors in a given population of players?

The issue was prior to the start of the war, The war wasn't the issue, that went fine and was predictably hospitalizing, the redundant attacks started prior to the war, and since I am one of the weakest in my clan/faction whatever, it is in the opposing sides interest to keep me out of the hospital so they can use me as a punching bag. It was the repetitive attacks prior to the war that I was wondering about.
