Those who are apart of the BHG community would've logged in today from an announcement from AtomicGarou saying he was quitting torn. For those who havnt seen it oe not apart of the discord this is what was said
Hello @everyone, it comes with a heavy heart to say this, but I am quitting Torn and stepping down from BHG. The main issue making this difficult and depressing is Stig.
From the beginning, when BHG had a few hundred members, we needed a bot to assist with orders. The first developer we hired ended up in federal jail, leaving us down on cash and with no bot. I have been friends with Stig for nearly 4 years and he offered his services because he is an experienced dev. We hired and paid him to create the bot you all know as @BHG Watchdog.
I invested a significant amount of money into the bot, and Stig accepted installment payments due to our friendship. However, I am still barely breaking even. I acknowledge Stig and I had no formal contract regarding the bot, just a rough cost and a monthly fee to keep it running, with the threat of shutting it down if not paid.
Looking back, its clear that Stig only cared about my money and the publicity he gets for making the bot. He often tried forcing his ideas on me and when I disagreed he called me a dictator and a bad owner. The breaking point came when Stig suggested branching into the raffle business and partnering with his customer Defcon. I agreed to a trial period, which led to an argument with Stig because I didn't inform him. He and another admin stepped down, claiming I didn't communicate properly. Shortly after, the admin joined Nebula, and Stig sold a copy of Watchdog to them. This was the ultimate betrayal. Stig had often accused me of being money hungry, yet he backstabbed me by selling the bot to a competitor.
Even after handing off the business to @Toxburn [3033092], Stig continues to insult and belittle my hard work. My biggest regret is hiring Stig as my developer. He has built his business off the hard work of others and resold their ideas as his own.
[12:31 PM] At the end of the day, two wrongs don't make a right. I am leaving to focus on myself in real life. Stig can continue his shady tactics and run his business as he pleases.
I want to thank everyone who has been a customer and those who have become close friends of mine due to BHG. Most of all I want to thank my staff who helped me run the server and have seen it all.
As for the BHG's future, I will not be there to see it but I have confidence in Toxburn to continue the server and make it great. He knows what he's doing and has prior experience, so things shouldn't change too much for you. I know he'll try to improve things and keep things going.
Thank you, everyone and goodbye.
Stig has shared his side on the thread so make sure you give it a read!
Came across this Reddit thread this morning. This guys pretending to be someone else and showed a screenshot of a profile pretending to have heaps of money just sitting in his account unprotected.
Hence people start mugging him. But plot twist. It's not him! It's someone else that mugged him and he's using this to get back at him. The real profile owner commented on the post revealing the fact.
What are your thoughts on this revenge tactic?
Edit;
Not sure why the link or image won't come through but this is the thread.

Thanks for posting Stig. I originally posted this for those not apart of BHG discord to see what happend and I could link them. We only got one side of the story so it's good to get both side by side like this. Now I won't share my opinion because that was never really the goal or matter. But appreciate the transparency. More info the better. Especially for a community as large as BHG

Day 1 of playing this, you all know the struggle, figuring out how to get funds. And bam. My friend who joined with me finds some computer part worth a few million at level 1 in the scrapyard. Sad to say, I havnt had such luck
