If you could possibly reference the tantrum please? Because stating that someone is a Karen for being precious about a post being in the wrong forum is a little far from a tantrum. 

I play every single day what is your point? 

I don't battle that isn't why I am here. It's not the enjoyment I have got from this game. I am fully aware what education is required that's why I have it. 

Absolute bare minimum: $500,000

 Realistic, non-stress start: $2–5 million

Comfortable / optimal start: $8–12 million

Now let’s break it down properly, using Sweet Shop as the example (same logic applies to AN, Candle, Farm, etc.) in Torn.

Mandatory costs (you can’t dodge these)

$500,000 — business creation fee

No debate, no workaround. That just unlocks the door.

What actually eats your money (the part people forget)

Stock (big one)

Initial stock buy: $1–3m

You want at least 3–5 days of stock so you’re not panic-buying at bad prices

Running out of stock = lost income = stalled stars.

Early upgrades & inefficiency

Low stars = lower margins

First upgrades aren’t cheap

Early days are not profitable

Budget $500k–$1.5m just to survive the ramp-up.

Realistic startup budgets

 Bare-bones (don’t recommend)

~$1m total

Constant stock stress

No room for mistakes

One bad day = red numbers

Only do this if you enjoy suffering.

I believe it was a GTA filter but yes I rather liked it 

GD gave me the option to post where as the recruitment tab did not. Thus I decided that GD was the closest match to what I needed. It would actually let me post regardless of the rules. if I can't post in recruitment I still need to be able to post recruitment posts somewhere.

Well I managed to run my last company just fine to a 10* so I will be just fine this time but thanks for the concern. 

I have avoided the forums because of idiots like you.

I can read but I can't work out how to get it to post where it should on the app so it went where I could get it. Because at the end of the day I have a company to staff and time is money. 

Because it's a sweet shop. Standard practice for many sweet shops and ANs it weeds out the players who want the cash. Directors like me want those that want the perks and stick around whilst being loyal. Not jumping ship for a bigger pay day somewhere else.
