Easy right, random chance to win or lose a pot against a singular opponent.
But if broken down more in depth, what are the real odds of winning and is there a way to leverage anything to your benefits.
A couple scenarios that keep my brain spinning trying to determine:
1. Two first time opponents playing against each other. RNG determines the win right?
2. Opponents on a losing streak of three both go against each other. Still RNG?
3. One player is on a three game winning streak and one is on a three game losing streak, is it still RNG?
4. Does the pot size have anything to do with the outcome, say one person is betting 25% of Cash and one is betting 100% of his money. Is there any impact?
5. Are your odds better or worse starting the match, or joining?
There are numerous other variables I think about, but would like to start with this and see if there can be a CONSTRUCTIVE conversation had about any testing that has happened, or possibly willingness to try out some test.
My initial thoughts would be bracket system that would pin 16-24 people. Rather than single elimination, I think each bracket plays 7 rounds. Alternating who starts to help add data on the impact, if any, on if there is a benefit one way or the other.
I would love to hear any more experienced players to this game input on the subject. I’ve played other games that had “random outcome” parts to it, that turned out to be not so random after testing.

I agree nothing can change outcome once the game has started. My curiosity is what, during that millisecond the game decides which of us is going to win, could make the game choose me over you to win. Is it pure chaos, I just think based off of thousands of games played (my real life friend got me started) that there is something else in the works. His % of wins to mine is night and day, so is my toon just targeted to be a deadbeat?!

Going to be a few days but might as well make this easy to find
You sir/maam are the reason I love this game. I was factoring off nat E, 2 xan, and refil and felt 20 would make it achievable without much concern for player lapse or RL things that make take a player off watch for a bit.
Understandable 4 people could do it. So I would like to gather a team, equal to 1 less than whatever group number has previously done it. My hope is to indeed create a most epic thread of accomplishments in this challenge.
not going to lie, I'm a ways off from getting my newb faction to the point we can go for the first run at this challenge, but my hopes are before summer is over, we are able to set the bar for lowest faction member count to achieve 10k chain. Once this is done, hopefully further interest is gained and we others will try. Not only to test a groups ability, but also see the varying strategies in how to accomplish this feat.
Yea I was hoping to learn the lowest member count to achieve. Wasn't sure if someone had posted about it before. I tried checking the chain ranks but since it doesn't show how many were in faction at the time of chain, it doesn't truly answer my question but it's a good resource.
I ran the math, and while it would take some time, I think a very organized group of 20 could pull it off, but if a group of 18 had already done than my quest would be in vain lol.
