So I was curious what do people actually do like outside of the game, what is your job or what do you study? And then if you answer that, how did you get into playing Torn?

I'm a medical student >o< - I got into Torn when I was mind numbingly studying for an exam the night before (it was biochemistry and I am so scarred after that exam). Genuinely why I am I willingly putting my self through this stuff 😭
Anyway I can have an existential crisis later, but I stumbled across Torn, I think it was advertised on a website I was looking at for answers to a question. And now I use it as the ultimate way to procrastinate - it has now become a part of my daily life. Don't ask me why I use it to procrastinate, half the time this game stresses me out more than uni, whether it's me trying to happy jump and overdosing on Xanax, or getting critically hit while pickpocketing and losing a whole one or two levels in that crime skill.
CodatB - Very nice! Are the older kids as bratty and mean as they come or are they actually nice?
KalS0 - Sounds very exciting! Physics and calculus and coding? That combination of subjects would put me in a coma but very cool indeed! Or perhaps intelligent is the right word... and on top of that you're joining a bootcamp, if a war starts I know who I'll be recruiting
Sweeney_Todd - okay now I know why all IT people are monsters (jk ofc unless... no just kidding haha), but I'm glad that I'm too chicken to actually go to the IT people at uni and so genuinely my only solution is turning it on and off and if not I just suffer in silence :D

I don't want to sound like I'm jealous, but I am, because you got two scholarships?! And here I am struggling to get them lol. What is a 4+1 program? Published at an international conference, I am saying this in the kindest way possible, but you are very much a nerd and I need to know if you wear glasses :p I think opportunities will come and go, so something good will come your way!
Well that's good then! You seem to really enjoy your work. I've heard research is brutal, and the pay (I'm not sure how it works everywhere) but where I'm from the pay is not very good. I do see the nerdiness, and honestly I love it! You play instruments too........... you sound like a prodigy. What instruments do you play? I used to play the viola but that was just for the mandatory strings program/music program we have to do :)

Hii I was just wondering on the Torn Wiki it says that Easter eggs won't spawn on pages that can't be accessed during flying. So that means they wouldn't spawn in the casino area (and any others yk)?

Kepheus - Procrastination is a good motivator to start Torn or any other game for that matter. Do you have a bachelor's degree in IT? Would you ever consider getting a master's? WAIT but the biggest question is, do you enjoy IT or is there something else that you are passionate about? Maybe they've got you doing it by yourself not just because it's cost-effective but because you're actually very smart and capable! But that may be draining for you to always do it by yourself
