Popping my forum cherry on this topic. One word! CONSENT! In the world of forum games, in the world of BDSM, this is the one word that "rules" them all. Suggesting that those who work with modern slaves within specific rule defined contexts with THEIR FULL INFORMED CONSENT are in any way the same as the predators who prey on children, women, and men for profit in NON-CONSENSUAL FORCED slavery suggests a lack of education about the meaning of CONSENT as used by adults choosing to participate in such things.
