I did not pick on you. If you don't know $1 bounty is a joke then I don't know what to say. Or why u rush to steep conclusions.
I ignored you because you first ignored me. Then because basically you spam the trade chat 24/7, so I ignored you to try avoid your spam (because when you are ignored you can't even trade the other guy). However, this ignore feature in Torn is useless as it does not block that guy's messages.
I only added you to enemies after you placed 30 bounties on me dude...
You will probably keep bountying me for 6 months etc. There is many cases of Torn players doing it for that length or longer.
Everyone knows $1 bounties are memes and not that serious because even a new player could do at least do $1000 or $10000 or something. I think you just want to bully new players over any little excuse. Disproportionate response you didn't even try talking/warning.
Like I said I quit the Torn and you can't take any forms of jokes but spam the trading chat which ignore and block does not hide
Consider twice if you wanna trade with guy this petty to bully newplayers over a meme. Keep wasting your bounty money on a player who has quit though.
Yes I was at fault asking him a stupid request and then for placing a meme bounty on him (mainly because he ignored me but spams the trade chat). I also did not know anonymous $1 bounties can be traced so I didn't intentionally poke him...
But now he plays 30 bounty on me and won't stop when I'm trying to trade in city to pay back other people who helped me before. But I am PH'd and can't trade.
Bigletters has the maturity of a little kid he can't take any jokes
I quit the game because of him all I am doing now is trying to repay some people but its impossible
Thats pretty much rugpulling if they do ever consider returning, which is the main problem here. The other problem is if you instate such a policy where inactives can be fully looted (items today, networth tomorrow), it's also a bit predatory/FOMO on the playerbase (i.e. the devs effectively saying "if you quit, when you return you're starting your cash from scratch, you better not quit").
If you ever do quit or take a long-term hiatus it's actually better to keep your networth in items which grow with any economy inflation. Raw money can be subject to inflation so you shouldn't sell all your items and put into stock market or vault or whatever. (Only exception being is if you hold items that become powercrept, which would be more than the inflation)
You're also looking at farming the big dogs, who probably have a higher chance of returning at some point (compared to noobs - they will quit and absolutely never return).
Someone mentioned rare collectibles, well, if they ever do return... they're gonna hate to see that stuff gone.
I guess the only counterargument is that some company types print too much money already and this would be kind of a buff to them also? Feel free to correct me on this as I'm not sure how it would factor in.
Yeah new players will rent PIs for like 5-7 days. The notification comes the previous day at 3:30 AM but there is no page or information I can find on when exactly the rental ends, which screws up the happiness levels big time.
It don't make sense they nerf flying and now wanna increase upkeep. Maybe you could consider taxing people based on how many properties they own but that cost is then passed onto the rental market not even to the landlords.
You shouldn't remove streams without adding other streams. It's not a case of "wanting cake and eating it too", they take away the little slice we had.
These staff need to make new accounts and understand from new players perspective how it works without buying DPs.
Right now we are only increasing the slogan "the rich get richer"
I guess their logic is dumping points should go through traders.
Flying isn't the most interesting gameplay loop of all time or anything, especially as you get mugged 50x on landing. But still you need to introduce other things first and then nerf other things. The disparity between new players and old players is already too big.
Not sure why this change was hidden from patch notes.
