As initially stated, I realize it is the general advice of pretty much everyone to not do what we're doing. We are aware of the current price to start a faction. We were hoping that we may just get lucky and find someone who may just be feeling generous, as I've often lived by the fact that if you don't ask, you do not get.
We can't join a Faction so the other options are to ask here, hope for generosity before the likely inevitability of the aforementioned pooling of our resources to create, or to simply not create one, but this isn't something we're considering.

Buying a Faction - Budget Uncertain - 10-20 million?
Against the better judgement of pretty much everyone I have talked to, I would like to purchase a faction for a small group of brand new players and friends.
We were hoping to find a mix between a reasonably priced and formed faction, that respected the time and dedication needed
I understand that a Faction takes time, effort and beyond to build and I don't want anyone to think I feel entitled to a decent price. I was just hoping that maybe it wouldn't hurt to ask before we started pooling our resources to start one, and maybe someone was feeling charitable.
