Hello Egg Hunters 2026: 

It's that time again! Eggs!

 

As with previous years, I've updated this list for 2026, But please let me know if I've missed a location/page that spawns eggs and I'll add it.

 

 

How To Use This List Efficiently

 

A total of 11 new eggs will spawn this year.

 

The exception to this is if you were playing in a previous event and didn't collect every egg that spawned for you.

 

On the final day, no new eggs will spawn, you can use this time to check locations for any eggs you've missed (travel locations for example).

 

 

Every new day, go down the list and click every location, if an egg spawns, great! If not, check again a few hours later. 

 

Whilst you can just click each individual link, there are a few things you can do to make your life a lot easier. 

1: CTRL + click: This opens the link in a new tab...

or...

2: There are a number of tools available that allow you to open multiple links from the same page at the same time, this is the method I use.

1: Install FireFox or Chrome.

2: Install the Egg Finder Script

3: Install the browser extension HyperBulk this tool allows you to open multiple links at once into their own individual tabs.

 


With both the script and extension running, you can open multiple links into their own tabs, check them and if an egg appears, the alert notifies you. Close each tab if there is no egg or you collect one.

 

Do not open too many links at once or Torn will fail to load the page. 8-10 is a safe number (depending on the page). Casino Stat pages are very resource heavy, do not open a lot of them at once.

Travel
Each destination can potentially spawn it's own unique egg.
Each destination which has a unique page can spawn it's own egg, Hunting, Rehab, Fortune Teller etc.
Each 'People' Page at the destination can generate it's own egg, these do not cross with other travel destinations.
You cannot check these from Torn, you MUST travel to that location to check.


According to Patch 333: Eggs will no longer spawn on inaccessible pages whilst flying.

 

Inaccessible Pages
If you are Casino Banned or do not have access to Big Als Bunker, Eggs can still spawn on those pages. 

According to reports, you CAN still pick them up. However you may have to switch between Mobile and Desktop view to get the egg to appear (if not using scripts). Also changing your screen aspect ratio is also said to help.

An Analysis Of Tiger Event... At 100 Hunting Skill · · 93 likes

As a player who achieved 100 hunting skill many years ago, I was quite curious as to how I'd benefit with the revamped hunting event.

With the inclusion of 3 new rare animals and given how I was at the cap for hunting skill I was curious to see if I could 'do well' in this one.

As a reminder, here are the new animals and their rewards.

Addax: 850k
Pangolins: 1.4m
Vulture: 2.8m

I was under no illusion that I'd be finding Vultures every hunt, but I did have some hopes that maybe I'd see a few Addax's compared to someone not at my level of skill, since the cost of 1 Xanax in SA is less than 1 Addax, I figured I'd give at least the start of the event a shot.

First of all, I'd like to make clear of a few...

Part 1: Limitations of this Study

Three main limitations that I've identified.

1: I should have hunted at least 400e without any hunting perks (job or faction) and also some way to attempt no Tigers or Tigers without the new rare animals, just to try and get a baseline for a number of different data sets.

2: This is just one users data set, it may differ for another player at level 100 hunting skill, however looking at some of the values in this thread, it seems fairly constant.

3: My faction had 30% bonus to all money gained from hunting during this event. Ideally I should have been in a company that had a hunting perk to see the maximum possible values <--- This above all else I'm REALLY curious to see the results of.

Part 2: Start of the Event, 1000e stacked

So with 1000e stacked, I hopped on the plane and landed right as the event started. Xanax right now costs $752,508...

For the sake of my own sanity and ease of reading, lets round that down to 750k, meaning fully stacked from 0 energy is going to cost 3,000,000, of Xanax... So how does that translate when hunting at 10 e per hunt during the event.

Another important factor to consider, during each trip I bought my max capacity of Lion Plushies (29), if sold during museum event it's around 90k per plush extra, so add that to the profit per trip.

Wow! 22.9m! That looks really good right!

Well... Hang on... So let's just put aside the energy waste argument, during the Xanax cooldown time I gained no extra energy and also no extra battle stats during this time.

For a player with 100 Hunting skill... Is this actually good? What does the data show?

So I did a few more.

Part 3: You Wasted How Much Energy?

Over the course of the entire event, here is no much I spent in terms of energy.

WHOA! Some of that is natural e, some of that is Xanax,

Cans and points were not used towards hunting so are not factored in.

Anyway, here are the results of those trips.

Hey! That looks pretty good right though! Well, it looks good... But when you plot those individual hunts onto a graph... You suddenly see just how bad this event was for someone with 100 hunting skill.

Wow that's... Not great! Visually it looks bad, but when you take a closer look at that data, it's even worse than Evil Ducks hunting plans..

Part 4: How Many Rare Animals Did You Find?

So we now get to the main reason why I wanted to look at this, with the newly added animals + Tigers, I did wonder if those at 100 hunting skill would do pretty well... but based on the data, it most certainly isn't the case.

Now I have to confess something here, these figures are estimations, I didn't log down each animal kill, just wasn't possible, especially when playing on mobile.

But fortunately, since the rare animals give so much more money, it's quite easy to calculate and be accurate to a very high percentage. I'm only unsure about 1 high value hunt which could be a vulture or a lucky combination of the other 2 creatures...

Anyway... the data.

Not even 10%, not even 7%! Out of 311 hunts, a total of 21 had a rare animal encounter.

How they broke down..

*Vulture's might actually be as low as 2, there's 1 result which could potentially be a lucky combination of Addax's and Pangolins.

As expected, Addax's was the dominant encounter by A LONG way, this was never going to be in any doubt, utterly no surprises there, what I am a little surprised at is how close the Pangolins and Vultures were, again there is some question over my data.

Out of all the rare animal encounters, you have a 34-35% chance of that rare encounter instantly giving you over 1m + any other animal kills you make... that would be quite awesome... if the rare encounters were not already so low.

Part 5: Should You Bother?

Now that we have a lot of data, we can really look into it in some more detail. For example, how much was 1 unit of energy worth to a 100 hunting skill player, and would they have been better doing other things in the game?

Obviously you can factor into this buying plushies, flowers or even drugs when you fly to South Africa, but what about if you didn't want to participate in this event and use your e in other parts of the game, for a 100 hunting skill player, how much was a single unit of e worth?

This is quite an easy calculation.

So let's look at the obvious.

Disclaimer: My mathematics my fail me amazingly here...

Bounties

25 energy X Cash per e = $594,825

So to equal the performance of a level 100 skill player with a 30% hunting bonus... you would have to on average claim a bounty no lower than $594,825

Based on all the energy I used, you'd have to claim at the absolute minimum... 124.4 bounties with a reward of $594,825.

Whilst there are people with the stats to do that, the competition to do this would be very high and very few players would be able to achieve this target, and with so many people flying to South Africa to participate in the hunt, the bounty board would likely be a lot less than usual or players would be flying that had a target on their back...

However this data does actually show that if you went to South Africa for this event and claimed one of the many Bounties that Evil Duck had on him.. it was more cost effective in some instances to do so that than it was to take a chance on hunting a rare animal.

Obviously, this data can also apply to mugging... obviously buy-mugging is a bit more complicated a stat to try and factor in but.. Well it's a thing.

Stonks

Well... Stocks doesn't use e... But you can't use the market whilst travelling sooo...Yeah you could make A LOT more money from the stock market, but you'll also need to invest a lot in the stock market and hope it goes your way during the event.

Again, only a certain type of player will have the cash and skill to be able to do this successfully. File this one under personal pref and ability.

Part 6: "At Least At 100 Skill, I Should Always Get 'Good' Hunts Right!"

Oh boy... Are you in for a surprise.

Yup. One hunt was below 40k! That wouldn't have paid for the standard flight to South Africa! XD

In fact, out of 311 hunts, 55 were below 100k,

Yes. 100 skill during the tiger weekend, produced 55 hunts below 100k.

In total 17.6% of my hunts were sub 100k.

This just feels.. So amazingly wrong for a special weekend + Faction upgrades at max skill.

On the other hand... Here are the top 5.

In total I had 21 hunts that broke the 1m mark, all of which were thanks to the rare animals.

Part 7: So At 100 Hunting Skill... Is Tiger Event Worth It?

... ... Define... 'Worth it?'

For me, the goal was to at least get 1 Addax per Xanax taken... which certainly did happen, the data is quite clear on this, not one trip where I was over the soft cap on e did I not make the cost back on the cost to break the soft cap.

Add onto that lion plushies, you more than make up the energy cost you travel out with.

But is it better than staying in torn and using e that way?

Whilst it is possible to make a lot more money by staying in the game and using that e to mug or claim bounties, not every player at level 100 hunting skill is going to be able to do that (cos they got no stats due to hunting HO HO!).

The Tiger event is literally a 'anyone can do this' event...

But the issue still remains... At Hunting Skill 100... Is the Tiger Event worth it...?

If... We didn't have the rare animals, probably not, there is no way I could see based on this data a justifiable reason to stack prior to the event and play it constantly unless you were planning to stock up on Xanax anyway...

But now we do have Rare Animals sooo....?

Well... It really comes down to personal choice here, I know that's an amazing cop out end to an analysis but I really can't see any other way to come to a conclusion, yes you can use that e to get more money in the city itself, but that's going to be difficult to do for the whole duration of the event, and you're at the mercy of your own battle stats with regards to how well you do with that one.

I certainly would NOT advise stacking prior to the next Tiger event unless there is a MAJOR change to it, such as a new rare animal or hunting finally gets a buff. Which... Doesn't seem likely.

The stats you loose from lack of training and natural e does not seem worth it for 20m.


But... During the event... That's another story.

If you have the WLT stock perk, or you just flower run anyway, It probably is worth it to take a Xanax... travel to SA and take the gamble at a 2.8m reward.

During my event I was always rewarded with at least 1 Addax, which covered the cost of the Xanax, and the Tigers + other rare animals always buffed an Xanax hunt to the point where I was making more than I put into it.

This I think, is just borderline worth it. If you don't stack prior to the event, but take part DURING it. You might consider it viable, but again it depends on how you make your daily income in Torn.

TlDr: Is it worth it?

"It's complicated, depends on your own circumstances."

Part 8: Can It Be Improved Without Breaking The Game?

So now we're moving into Suggestion Forum territory here and I am tempted to make a thread with my suggestions and watch it fail to get 10 up votes because nobody cares about hunt....

Can money be improved without breaking the game?

I want to say yes it can, now obviously I get that staff have long memories and the days of Hunting bringing in millions of dollars to destabilize the economy likely keeps the data guys up at night so... Let's give them a nightmare!


1: The Animals you get for The Tiger Event... Should be the final unlock for getting 100 hunting skill. Call it "Endangered Species Hunting"

Currently outside of the tiger event hunting at 100 skill is not worth it at all, even with a faction and job bonus. But the rare animals, suddenly make it more interesting a prospect. Out of 300+ hunts, I only saw 3 vultures, that's hardly game or economy breaking. the other two, 1 of them pays for the Xanax cost, the other is the nice bonus.

But if I do that, I lose a lot in battle stats, I'm not going to stay very long in a HOF faction if I dedicate my end game to hunting and not training outside of chain time, I'm going to be a prime target for mugging when I'm in South Africa if I dedicate my time to hunting and stay there for days at skill 100.

Most players would never ever do this, yes there will be some that do, but it's gonna be a very small minority, first they have to get to skill 100 and then they're going to soon find themselves on various mugging lists if they stay in SA long term.

But that might be too much so...

2: 100 Hunting Skill also unlocks a personal perk.

Outside of Tiger event, 1.2 boost to hunting money, during event. 1.5.

Again, nobody will dedicate their life to it, but it certainly makes the event far more attractive a concept for those who have 100 skill. Certainly would tempt me to stack prior to the event and take part.

Ok I have a few more suggestions for things that can unlock at hunting skill 100, but I want this analysis to stay firmly in the money vs 100 skill territory so I should probably stop now.


Part 9: Well Goodbye...

Urm... That's it, hope those of you who enjoy data like some of this and my poor attempts at humour here and there, and hope ED doesn't take too much offence to the jokes at his expense here and there.

Torn of the Dead hurts the most.

 

Because back then, it was possible for players to truly hide.

 

No company, no faction, no forum or chat activity, just going totally off the radar, infected players had to truly hunt them down by going through the user list, checking players 1 by 1 manually... Today... "Oh I ran a script and here are all the people!"

 

 

Anyway,

 

The world war event also had a pre-event to hype it a little if my memory is correct? Ched released some of the WW2 weapons as City finds, they sold for quite a bit back in the day, but finding them didn't do anything towards the event, purely as a fun thing to get on top of it.

 

Anyway the comp was...

 

Well as most have said, you were told to pick a flag and fight for that flag, hence why you had the pirates flag (my team), but most people didn't think it through, they just saw the USA or UK flag and picked it. Low and behold they had quite low scores due to team sizes and lots of players not attacking.

 

As others have said, it was quite an easy comp to rig, due to factions on mass joining less popular teams and treating it like a faction war, but a few teams did do VERY well from clever play. There was one team I recall which had barely anyone in it, but they came top 10 purely because they kept flying.

 

They would land, do a ton of attacks, then fly out on mass, so it kept their win/loss ratio at a really good rate despite having so few people in it.

 

There was one big thing I remember, not sure if it was in the first or second year... Controversy... the winning team shouldn't have won.

 

 

As you can see from the screenshots, torn displayed a simplified score to the players, but behind the scenes it actually went to several more decimal places... only... the team second should have won, as someone figured out how to view the data and realised that the rounding was wrong. The team in second place technically had a higher score, but cor reasons it was given to the other team.
