Starting to see why I kept hearing stay away from the forums. This is why

My real issue was that if I simply said hey I see these people on Facebook doing RMT, those profiles likely aren't enough to find and ban them. My Facebook profile as far as I know has no mention of my torn ID and I'm pretty sure thats normal for everyone. I apologize for my own ignorance in this matter, I simply wanted to ask a question and figured I could learn a lot from the general crowd here. 

I have a RWT trade scammer on Facebook right now and I'm trying to get him to give me his player name under the guise that I am willing to pay for his I'll gotten gains. How best would someone say I should proceed?

I understand wanting to buy virtual crap. I've thrown more money into the micro transaction money pit then I'll ever admit. But if we're at the point of selling plasma for donator packs we need a damn reality check. They aren't even expensive to begin with, so you don't need more than one monthly to keep your status, which you can easily do without actually paying, if you're willing to let your networth grow a bit slower. I do also understand that because these can be sold on the market, it feeds the casino machine. It does make me wonder if torn couldn't track the money you've gained through donator packs differently, not allow you to use it in the casino, but for only regular trading and buying purposes. Warframe has a similar function with their Platinum, which also has a separate "personal Platinum" which can't be traded with players but can otherwise be used the same.

I understand what you're getting at here, but it's not as if my networth can't be seen by staff at all times. The only reason I'm offering the help is that I see these posts every hour on the hour so obviously there aren't enough minds to help catch these cheaters. This is born from a passion for this game and something I've done in another games. 

Why am I getting redditor replies out here? If you have no useful advice for what I'm asking, kindly scroll on. If you do lay it on me. 

Man I'm not trying to be guilty by association, I'm trying to provide proof to Torn mods. He has said his method is sending to a faction the player owns or by using poker. Doesn't sound like these methods would save him but I'm not sure.

So currently at your level the money you're making doesn't matter too much. Currently, you want to be training and attacking leveling targets until you hit level 15. After that you gain the ability to fly. I would get in with a faction that's friendly with new players. Wardogs is a wonderful example, but either way a faction provides more info and better info than these forums will. I also will give you the same spcheel my faction gives to all recruits. Do not waste money in the casino. It's fun, but you're not going to make significant money, more than likely will simply lose it. The stock ticker was a great suggestion for hiding funds, but you could also just use items like Xanax, as the value holds relatively stable and those can't be mugged off of you, but any item that has value would do. 

It is important to remember that while it's entirely okay to be gay, it's not GAY to marry your homies in Torn.
