From your experience, which one of the two specials (Addiction Mitigation vs. Employee Effectiveness) is more useful in regards to well.... Employee effectiveness. The second one increases EE by 1 point per upgrade(which doesn't seem like much) so I was thinking whether AM would be a better spend of merits.
So the addiction mitigation special says the following:
This upgrade will reduce the negative effects that addiction causes by 2%. Addiction will have less of an impact on your battle stats, employee effectiveness, and education / gym access.
Im really curious how does it affect employee effectiveness exactly? I read the wiki but there's not enough inform with regard to employee effectiveness, or at least not enough to satisfy my curiosity.
So I placed the following bet on a football match, Ordinary time(which means it takes into account all goals within 90 minutes game):
02:36:11 - 27/07/24 You placed a $122,870,000 (x1.04) bet in the Bookie on Under 6.5 Total (Over/Under 6.5 Total Ordinary time) bet on Green Gully Cavaliers v Avondale FC (Football).
These are the game results where it clearly shows the 7th goal was scored in the 90+3 extra time.

After the game finished I received a notification that I lost the bet. How is this possible?

For a crime-based game, Torn has some of the most helpful and friendly gamers towards new players. The social aspect of this game is mind blowing.
What I don't like:
Just like in real life, there's a monumental difference between new players and the old, trillion dollar players /factions who've been playing for 10 years. It's like the new and old are playing totally different games but on the same framework. It's very hard for new players.
