Looking for a job... Despite my reported age, only really been playing for a week, so stats are poor...

I'm a new player looking for a company that will help me grow in Torn City. Though I'm still learning the game, I can promise consistent activity and reliability in completing all assigned company tasks. I log in multiple times daily (mostly - we all have a real life and work!), follow instructions carefully, and am committed to being a dependable team member. I'm eager to learn more about the game mechanics and contribute to the company's success while developing my character. I value stability and am looking for a long-term position where I can prove my worth through dedication and consistent performance.

Addiction Watch + Rehab Advisor

Know your addiction debuff, cooldowns and rehab plan at a glance. One sidebar widget, one dashboard, styled to look like it shipped with Torn.

Needs Tampermonkey and a Torn API key (Minimal access)

Addiction sneaks up on you. The brain debuff quietly eats your Battle Stats, education kicks you mid-course, your company effectiveness drops, and you find out too late. This puts all of it in front of you, live, and tells you exactly when to rehab and when to just wait for free decay.

What you get

The number it tracks

It tracks the Battle Stats debuff from your addiction level, the brain icon, not the effect of an active drug. That is why it correctly sits at 0% until your addiction is high enough for the brain to appear, and gets redder as it climbs. Anything your key tier cannot read hides itself instead of showing a broken value.

Runs on the Torn API, nothing else

No page scraping, no third parties. Your key is stored locally in your userscript manager, sent only to api.torn.com, and never logged or shared. The API is read-only, so it cannot send items, spend money or act on your account. It calls only user/basic, user/icons, user/personalstats, user/cooldowns and company/employees, all auditable in Torn's own API Key Log.

Key tier: Minimal access is the recommended floor. Public reads the debuff, rehab count and drug stats; Minimal adds the cooldown timers. The company penalty shows when you are in a company.

Works on Torn PDA

Your PDA key is picked up automatically, no typing. To keep the mobile layout clean the panel shows on the item page and starts collapsed. Tap the strip to expand, or open the dashboard for the full view.

Defaults

Every threshold is configurable, and the game mechanics (decay, rehab cost, Xanax AP, overdose rate, book effects, Toleration level) can be tuned, exported, imported or reset in Settings. Full Toleration factions usually want the rehab target around 6 to 8% and the education warning at 8%.

Troubleshooting

• Panel missing: make sure your userscript manager is on, then reload Torn
• Nothing loads: add a valid key, Minimal access or higher
• Cooldowns or company missing: needs a Minimal key, and you must be in a company for the company panel
• Shows 0%: you have no visible brain debuff right now, that is normal
• Odd behaviour: check the browser console for lines starting with [WoJ TAW]

Built to survive VPNs, mobile networks and short outages: 10 second request timeout, cached data during downtime, automatic retry and backoff, and the panel reattaches itself if Torn rebuilds the interface.

Quality-of-life tool only, no automation, nothing beyond the official read-only API. MIT licensed. Found a bug or want a script? Message me in Torn. Donations welcome if it earns its keep.

Have a play... I wrote this to automatically rank a target list by combining respect gain, fair fight ratio, and recency into a single score. Applys adaptive thresholds based on your battle stats level (e.g., stricter filtering for 1M+ BS players) and flags targets you've lost to.

I wrote this as my YATA targets grew to identify the most efficient targets.

In a nutshell, export targets from YATA, use my tool, wipe targets from YATA and re-import into YATA.

• Corrected documentation to reflect that the script is now fully Torn API–driven — removed outdated references to a Torn Tools / DOM-scraping fallback chain that no longer exists in the code
• Fixed the Faction Toleration description: it's a 0–25 level input (2% reduction per level, capped at 50%), not the old boolean "XXV toggle"
• Corrected the natural decay window in the docs to 03:30–03:35 TCT (previously stated inconsistently as 02:00–04:00 in one place and a single 03:30 point in another)
• Updated the API privacy section to list the actual Torn API v2 endpoints called (/user/basic, /user/personalstats?cat=drugs, /user/cooldowns, /user/icons, /company/employees) instead of stale v1-style combined selections
• Fixed the Xanax (7d) troubleshooting entry to describe how it actually works (a direct 7-day-ago historical API lookup) rather than a snapshot-accumulation mechanism that no longer exists
• Removed mentions of a "first-install API key prompt" and a "collapsible stats panel" — neither is implemented; the real UX is an inline "Add API key" panel state and a plain (non-collapsible) stats card
• UI/PDA/mobile: responsive breakpoints below 480px, PDA-specific panel placement (collapsed by default, item.php-only), PDA WebView networking bridge, and PDA API-key auto-injection

Shout out to Rowage [3926289] for offering to clean up the UI but more importantly make it a bit (a lot) more reliable on PDA/Mobile!

Addiction Watch + Rehab Advisor Update

A few improvements and fixes have gone into the latest version:

• Improved reliability when using VPNs or unstable connections

• Added request timeouts, caching and automatic fallback handling

• Better recovery from API failures and Torn page refreshes

• Improved rehab calculations using the community-validated cost-per-AP formula

• Automatic learning from your own rehab results for more accurate future estimates

• Added rehab slot advisor to help avoid wasting daily natural decay

• Added wait-vs-rehab recommendations

• Improved cooldown tracking and display

• Added Xanax usage tracking (lifetime and rolling 7-day view)

• Improved PDA support

• More detailed diagnostics and console logging to help troubleshoot issues

Public API key is min needed, see above for what API key levels will/won't show you!

Has had a bit of an overhaul, so please give it a kick and let me know any suggestions, issues etc :)

FYI, Updated to make it a bit less intrusive... I mainly use Desktop, but it does appear to work on PDA.
