Hi, welcome to round 002 of FluoroNeuro’s Graphic Auction!
I am the lead designer of a design firm in my day to day life, trying to bring some of my work to Torn so I can maybe one day afford some of the nicer things in this game.
Unless I am working with a third party brand, such as a band, game, anime etc., then 100% of all graphics used in my work are either bought and paid for, meaning I own the rights to use these images in perpetuity, or custom created by me. I create custom graphics and elements as well as work from an extensive library of stock graphics, accessible through my business. When you buy my work, you are supporting the use of owned and not stolen assets, as well as over a decade of experience in the design industry. My hope is to offer real-world quality services at the cost of fake money.
I will try to offer these auctions whenever it is possible to fit between external projects, but I cannot make any guarantees about when they will occur.
I offer custom work on a limited basis, DM for details.
I reserve the right to reject any offer for any reason.
I am playing with a new idea this time because I have been brushing up on my After Effects and 3D skills. It’s very demanding and time consuming so I don’t know if I can offer full collections in an animated style but I would like to offer at least one piece from each collection as an animation, whenever possible. These pieces may include special additions in the animated version that are not present in the static version.
This time around, we have piece #2 offered as an animation. Whoever buys out piece #2 will receive the full-resolution (1800x600) static .PNG, a full-resolution and full-framerate .MP4 and a scaled down, Torn-optimized (600px wide) .GIF for your profile. If #2 is not bought-out, the winning bid will receive the static image with their text on it and the animation will be archived for portfolio use.
This piece is inspired by a retro movie title screen. I am a big typography nerd and I am obsessed with old-school film typography so I tried to emulate the effect of fading in text from an old movie where the light behind the film produces a red color as it fades to white. It’s very reminiscent of a John Carpenter title screen. I also wanted to give it an old film vibe so I added a tiny bit of jitter to the text to emulate the movement of a video reel. It has a very subtle film grain layer overtop that animates with the whole piece. The subject matter tells a story of the motorcycle-riding Turbo Killer, with the woman in the middle being the focus of the plot. The story is up for interpretation. The animation is an 18 second seamless loop.
The entire collection represents an evolution of my techno/cyberpunk style design, adding complexity and depth with an increased emphasis on story-telling and narrative-driven design. I hope that each piece tells a unique story and evokes emotion for the viewer.
All static work is created with a combination of Photoshop and Illustrator with custom and owned assets. Animated work is created with a combination of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Cinema 4D and Premiere Pro with custom and owned assets, and is priced accordingly.

Hey, I'm FluoroNeuro, a professional freelance graphic designer in the real world, now offering my services on Torn.
Below are the graphics for sale and details about the auction. I do offer custom work for pretty much anything you can imagine so feel free to DM with any custom pieces or requests.
Thanks, I appreciate that and I agree that we should lift each other up. We all work hard here. Graphic design is a criminally underpaid industry outside of Torn and I deal with people wanting work for cheaper all the time. So, truly, I was surprised to see a fellow designer (if that's true) say what AK said to me. I would never speak those words to another artist. I deal with criticism and feedback for a living, but a real artist should know the personal impact those words can have on someone who has put their heart into their work.
Mostly, it just hurts because I've always looked up to him and his work, and as you can see from our conversations, I've always communicated that to him. I am a person too, you know. I never attacked you, your work, or your character, AK. And I won't do it now. But I'm baffled by the way you've treated me and I've massively lost respect for you as person. Still a great designer, but a pretty mean person at the heart of it all.
Yes, it is absolutely embarrassing that you went so low as to say what you said, and then to post it again thinking you're not the asshole in this situation. You attacked me unprompted and showed your insecurities.
Should I post the words above the conversation we had? The last message I sent you where I complimented your work and told you I was honored to face off against you in Chaos' thread? Or should I scroll up further where I told you I loved your work? Here is as far back as our message history goes so everyone knows what prompted you to fly off the handle at me. Why are you burning bridges? I am bewildered by your response. It is disproportionate and yes, like you said, embarrassing. If you're gonna burn bridges then I'm gonna make it publicly known who you are deep down. That the tiniest little disagreement sets you off into a rage where you say nasty things about people.
Did I ever talk shit about your work? No, because I respected you. I respected you and your work, which you were charging up to $1 billion for pieces in your thread and I never said a word because I think you deserve to get paid what you think your work is worth. In fact, I still like your work. That's why I'm confused why you would come into my thread and devalue my work and then when I politely ask you about it you say very mean and hurtful things to me? I even asked if you meant to send that message. And then you blocked me? After I didn't reply? Wow. it's like middle school all over again.
It really shows who you are deep down. I will stay professional, because I am a professional. I will not stoop to that level, I just think people should know who you are and what you say to people when you think others aren't looking.
I told myself I would make graphics here as long as it was fun and this is definitely not fun.
