Back in my day we didn’t have these newfangled OC 2.0s, we didn’t rely on individual members to join OCs or any of this new jargon. We just had planning, and being on time! Nowadays there’s all these talks of success percentages, item requirements, it’s sickening! People can never be trusted to join a proper OC, and God forbid if they lose their item they willingly provide to the system. Even worse, some payments are better than 1.0! It used to be PA for the big money, but now they INCENTIVIZE this system, all for “more interactivity”! These newer player's don't even know how good they have it, at the expense of the mental health of their faction higher ups. Ched, Bogie, Julie and the rest of them over at that there Torn HQ better watch out, before the community as we know it is ruined!

I love getting achievements in games, something about getting flavor text or a reward for accomplishing certain tasks appeals to me. With each merit getting harder to get, I wanted to try and obtain 300 awards before having a Torn age of 300 days. Not only have I done that, but I beat that goal by over a week!

I highly doubt I will be able to get 400 awards in 400 days given how merits have slowed down, but who knows. Maybe if they add even more merits for each crime :p
