One of the problems that I see with poker is the merrit. If you call all the time you get your merrit faster. Therefore bad players are being rewarded instead of learning the game. I understand that this is not a poker site but it definitely ruins the game with all of these all ins on garbage cards. I know cards is a game of luck but poker is a game of skill. Going all in say with a 6 3 os or J with rags should some how be penalized with getting the merrit. Having people not knowing the game or just not understanding the skill part of it really does ruin these games.
I really don't know what to do to make the games better. If somehow there are level tables where you play good enough you can play on higher level tables. Eventually there should only be good players sharks who will eat the fish up and send them back down the food chain ( lower level tables) or something that makes these games more enjoyable.
It would not be a good idea. I would definitely go Phil Hellmuth on someone if I see horrible pocket cards being played then constantly being beat by them. Especially if they are playing out of position and are seeing a double or triple barrels. Yeah I would definitely go Hellmuth on someone.
Actually I try to use any poker app as practice. I won't change my habits or ranges. But torn makes me tighten up my ranges. I need to make sure I have something good in the flop to either call or double barrel. If I have top pair with a flush draw I still won't fold it yet. Just because I know if I hit. But what kills me is the bad players constantly being rewarded for chasing. It almost feels that if a certain combo of whole cards are dealt then that determines how the board hits. But that could be because of the bad beats I have been through and seen happen.
I will still always fold 6 3 is or suited no matter what doesn't matter how many times I will get beat by it I can never force myself to play them. Unless it's a free call to me but still am I going to chase down the river hoping I can get my trips. It's really crazy the cards I see on these tables.
