Kiki's Weekly E-DVD and Xanax Giveaway (closed) · · 3 likes

Desperate Times, Desperate Measures

Alright, listen up. I’m not proud of what I’m about to say, but I need this E-DVD. Not want. Need.

Life in Torn hasn’t been easy. My job pays pennies, my faction thinks I’m useless, and the last time I tried to mug someone, I tripped over my own shoelaces and ended up in the hospital. I need a win.

So here I am, entering this game, pouring my heart out. Why should I get an E-DVD? Because I deserve a little joy in my miserable, crime-ridden existence. Because my Torn apartment is colder than the forums after a bad update. Because the only action I’ve seen lately is a failed attempt to flirt in global chat.

If I don’t win this, I’ll be forced to do something drastic—like actually work for my money or, god forbid, watch VHS tapes like some prehistoric caveman.

So please, have mercy. Give me an E-DVD and restore my faith in humanity. Or at least in Torn giveaways.

The End. (Or is it?)

Listen, life in Torn is tough. The streets are cold, the work is brutal, and sometimes a guy just needs... an escape. That’s where an E-DVD comes in.

Picture this: I’ve just spent 12 hours grinding through crimes and trying to dodge muggers. My energy is drained, my morale is low, and I’ve got nothing to show for it but a busted keyboard and a sense of existential dread. But then I remember—there’s hope. An E-DVD waiting to whisk me away to a world where bad lighting and questionable dialogue reign supreme.

But alas, my stash is empty. Depleted. I’m like a ship lost at sea, yearning for the sweet shores of... well, you know.

So here I am, humbly offering this tale of my struggles in exchange for a glimmer of joy. Grant me this E-DVD, and I promise to cherish it, laugh about it, and maybe even pass it along to the next soul in need.

After all, sharing is caring.

It all started on a lazy Sunday when I found a mysterious disc labeled "E-DVD" at a secondhand shop. "Must be one of those rare movie collections," I thought, imagining a treasure trove of classic films. Excited to share my find, I invited my mum for a cozy movie night.

Popcorn? Check. Blankets? Check. A wholesome bonding experience? Oh, how wrong I was.

The disc began with a scenic shot of a luxurious mansion, soft music playing in the background. “Looks fancy,” Mum said, settling in with her tea. But then... things escalated.

A man in a bathrobe sauntered onto the screen, his chest glistening like a freshly waxed car. Moments later, a woman in a dress that could only be described as *optional* entered the scene. They exchanged a few lines of dialogue, which, in hindsight, weren’t exactly Shakespearean.

And then—BAM!—the robes dropped, and the scene transitioned into what can only be described as *not PG*.

I froze. Mum froze. The popcorn froze mid-air.

“Is this... what I think it is?” Mum asked, her voice a mix of shock and disappointment.

“Uh... maybe it’s... an art film?” I stammered, fumbling for the remote like it was a live grenade.

But the remote wasn’t cooperating. As I desperately mashed buttons, the characters on screen were busy... connecting on a level I didn’t know was physically possible.

Mum cleared her throat. “I think I’ll... go make a cup of tea,” she said, fleeing the room faster than I’d ever seen her move.

To this day, the E-DVD sits on a shelf as a reminder: always check the content before pressing play—especially if Mum’s involved.

So, dear Torn citizens, I need another E-DVD—not for family night this time, but for research purposes. And maybe to prank a friend.
