You harassed a woman in an online game, and made the decision to tell people you refuse to stop. You refused to stop harassing her, our leadership separated you to try to keep you both in the family. You responded by attacking any of us you could, and when I reminded you that I had done nothing to you, you escalated. When I shut you down with a bounty train on behalf of the team, you failed to cease. Faction leaders, recruit at risk to your teams. Unscrupulous, unpredictable, disloyal, potential threat to women. This person deserves whatever burn notice they get from anyone.

I'd like to compare my progress with other highly active players and set goals accordingly. How old were you when you hit 1B total stats?

I'm a newer player still getting through their first year, looking to rush education a couple of months from now, if possible. Looking to get an idea of the kind of stats recruiters are looking for from players wanting to get in to a 7* hair salon.

Would they need to be as high as someone looking to get in to a fitness center?

Some lifelong favorite bands for me would be Type O Negative or classic Danzig.
current stuff would be light fun & non-serious stuff for stoners, like Castle Rat, Gnome, Evil Chicken, etc. but I usually like the darker side of music and/or music that overlaps with goth culture like Chelsea Wolfe.

I add them to my first aid kits as well, along with hemostatic gauze.

The most powerful crime syndicates in the world are international. It would be immersive and cool if traders actually had to risk something and had to work with each other to move plushies and drugs. We could include international gambling with unique rules, requirements, and set up costs for racketeers as well. This would encourage more torn cash being removed from the economy through increased risk factors and reduce inflation in a way that feels natural and integrates well with the game. There could also be disproportionate jail sentences for it all similar to U.S. RICO laws, which would make bail/bust mechanics more immersive and significantly slow players financial and gym stat growth for older players if these options were oriented around end-game play.

I recently joined a mechanic shop to replace a low activity player and help it hit 10. We did it within two weeks and I'm wondering if helping them afford productivity boosts would help us stabilize at 10*.

My director and I aren't clear on exactly what they do or how to manage the employees accordingly. I don't recall the torn wiki going in to fine details, or I missed something. We need info resources.

You're not a good person, you train poorly, you can't fight anymore as a result. Your team isn't even interested in helping you even though they know you'll need help and I think that says a lot about you, lol.

Brief History: Initially as noobs we were both recruited in to WTF Ducks...I left. Shadows used that as an excuse to kiss up to his leadership and began trolling and bullying to the point where he was violating the game's terms. I repeatedly explained to him politely that I had ongoing health issues, was in the middle of a cancer scare at the time, and literally didn't have the energy to put up with it.

He began calling me a liar first, then began mocking me for my health problems and called me a retard for being a disabled wheelchair user. I reported him, Torn staff claimed there was "nothing actionable" even after he went so far as to use the slur. That's how I ended up with blue name, I thought it was fun to outgrow people like him and stand up for myself instead of quit. That's his big problem, that he was a bigot and a bully, was outgrown on purpose, so now he hates just because I support the game.

I want to be clear that the cancer scare is over, it turned out to be damage caused from a hernia, not a tumor and I'm no longer worried about being sick on top of being disabled.

That's pretty impressive to pull off with balanced stats in under 500 days imo.

That's interesting, I didn't join a music store either but I have made use of FHC's and cans and I'm set to hit 1B around the same time as you. I was playing pretty casually during my first few months though.

This quick and dirty guide is the result of refining a few different comments of mine for people struggling in their first year. It's my first written guide for any game, and is designed to be quick cheat-sheet for people who are unhappy with their rate of progress. I hope I help some of you.

Training: Don't focus on one stat or a build or ratio. Train the highest gym stat multiplier all the way until you unlock George's gym. Take as much xanax per day as you can manage, also try to get as many 30 point refills as you can manage.

Fighting: Do not fight without getting paid a minimum of 1M per hit, period. Energy is for training or for getting paid. Do not waste money on enemies, gambling, bounties, etc. Torn seems really serious to noobs when it comes to confrontations and encourages you to waste your resources.

Crimes: Go in order from the first to the last. Focus on just getting each crime to 100 for now, grabbing unique outcomes (the star) whenever you can. Crimes won't be much of a money maker during your first year, but they'll fast track you towards earning merit points, and that's why it's good to grind them as a noob.

Money: Only spend money on stats if you spend it at all for now. Otherwise, invest in the bank until you have $2B stashed there first.

Afterwards you can find charts that will tell you which stocks have the best return on investments, so you know what to invest in first. Although it's easy to do the math yourself and figure most of that out without help in my opinion.

DO NOT HOLD CASH. You will be mugged often, stash it in a stock.

Items: Weapons and armor don't mean much if you don't have stats to justify the gear. Avoid spending money on weak perks even if you're desperate for a stronger weapon. The right perk is worth a lot more than higher damage & accuracy values.
Also consider how much you could be boosting your stats permanently, with the same amount of money that you'd spend on that piece of gear that you want.

Note - I think one of the most valuable pieces of ranked war gear to start with would be a riot helmet, because it protects your face and also makes pepper spray useless, which is the noob temporary weapon of choice. That one piece of gear saved me in fights many times over during my first year in torn.

Education:

1. Sports Science - Unlocks 1% permanent boost to gym gains. Get this first no matter what. Faction leaders might push you to get the blood bag related perks from biology first, but that helps them a little more than it helps you, in the beginning when you're on a team that doesn't pay much to begin with.

2. Biology - 2127, 2360, 2370, and 2410 for the 3% to crit. Very bang-for-buck over all.

3. Combat training - This is mostly because it takes so long to raise experience for individual weapons, so you want to start as early as possible. Like Sports Science, you won't feel the benefit right away, but you'll be glad you got it early on. You might be tempted to go for stat percentage boosts first. Consider that a 1% to 3% boost in a stat means less when your stats are very low, but means a lot more when they're higher.

Note - You could opt to get PSY2670 and PSY2660 before starting combat training if you want the largest stat boosts for the shortest amount of education time first, but make combat training your third finished degree unless you're strongly against fighting and just want to focus on trade and crimes.

I'm curious if the player base knows the average or median times overdosed percentage. I'd like to compare how lucky or unlucky my percentage is.

I think an issue would be that it would still allow the possibility of a second account creation to benefit someone in some way.

Example: Someone creates a second account, and levels to 100 before getting fedded. They now have a leveling dummy they can share with friends and faction.

Did you check my own display screenshot and see that you and I did not see the same thing? I understand that according to my logs sake is what I purchased. However, it was not listed on my display at all. It was not physically possible for me to even attempt to buy sake.

I think the point is that it's a direct accusation with his name in it and they were worried that it would disappear. As of today it's hit major media outlets though, so they're ok.

You basically blew off the report, I know what the logs say I purchased, which isn't what I attempted to purchase. As you can see, I quoted the log and know how to make use of it. In the future please pay better attention to detail.
