When playing Craps, I've noticed that several times after the dice are thrown on the come-out, the puck doesn't go to the correct point. I wish I took a video, but the last time it happened, a 4 was rolled and the puck went to the 10.
Also, when betting the don't, sometimes I get some kind of message about "duplicate don't come" or something. This is usually when I have a Don't Pass and don't come in play, and either the point is hit or the 7 rolls. Anyway, the puck goes off, and my don't come bet is still on the board in the don't come zone and I can't remove it.
Finally, this is mainly just a gripe about odds limits (I understand that odds limits are ultimately at the casino's discretion). Torn craps sets the cap for odds at 3x the original bet, no matter what point is up, and also regardless of if it's a Pass or Don't Pass. "Usually", the pass odds limits follow a 3-4-5 scheme, with the 4 and 10 at a 3x, the 5 and 9 at 4x, then the 6 and 8 at 5x. And as for the Don't, it's usually 6x across the board, since the don't odds pay less than even money for being the favorite to win after a point is established.
I really enjoy craps IRL, and these issues ruin the immersion and make me just not want to bother playing the game here on Torn. If the bugs get worked out, I think the devs could even incorporate some crime aspects into the game and make it even more interesting. Maybe some loaded dice, or a dice setting skill. Could possibly even create a social aspect to the game, where multiple players can play at the same table, taking turns being the shooter. That would be really cool, and would make me want to play Torn more often than I already do.
I took a screen recording just now. I'll attempt to add the recording to this post. If you can see it, a couple things happen. Just for context: I'm using a common Don't strategy where during the come-out roll I make a don't pass bet. On a 2 or 3, it wins, and on a 7 or 11, it loses. A 12 should be a push. Any other number should move the puck to the number rolled. Once a point is established, I follow up with a Don't Come bet, which functions the same way as a roll while the puck is off. I try to do this until I have 3 don't points working. If the 7 rolls before the point number, the dont will win. So here's what happened in the video:
First, you'll see that while I have a Don't Pass bet on a point and also a don't come bet, the 7 rolls and the puck comes off. My bet in the Don't Come area should automatically be removed since the don't come is not available to bet until after a point is established by the puck. However, it's stuck there and you can see me trying to remove it, but the only way I can get it off the board is to click the clear button.
Towards the end of the video, while the puck is off, the dice rolls a 2, but for some reason the puck moves to the 9. What should have happened was my don't pass bet should have been paid 1 to 1, the puck should have stayed off, and another come out roll should have been next.
