Your post hit me hard. You’re absolutely right. Men, every day, are meant to don an armor and go out and be masculine 100% of the time. There is supposed to be 0 vulnerability, often times even at home - whether or not they live alone.
Thing most people don’t realize is that armor needs repairs sometimes… that repair often looks like hanging out with the homies… but in really bad instances it needs a complete reforge by seriously talking to a mental health professional.
Taking care of your armor is not weak, gents.
Take care of that armor people expect you to put on every day. Talk to your boys, talk to your spouse or S/O -if you can, or, at the very least, talk to a blacksmith… erm… Mental Health Professional.
