I've been spending all my Merits into Education based on recommendations in forums, however I realised that these forums were all about 3yrs old (via Google), has the game changed in a sense that this is no longer the Meta, or is this still a good idea?
I read somewhere that 8 education 8 bank interest 6 awareness is a good start. Would it be best to max one first or spread it out?
Edit: I've currently put 5 into Education and that is it. I have a further 6 ready to go, wondering whether to keep going with Education or spread the merits to other perks.
If any other Merit recommendations please share! :) thanks
Also, I'm aware that at the end of the year you can reset the Merits and they aren't permanently locked.
I'm fairly new to the rehab element of the game, how much should you rehab on the slider? My first one i did the 75% one for 750k, all I've read is never to do the max 100% one.
Please let me know if it is better to use the 25% or 50% slider options.
Thanks for all the great advice. Looks to me that I kicked up a bit of a debate lol! But that also goes to show me as a new player that different players have different styles so you can go in multiple directions with the merits.
General consensus though seems to be that Education is still a good merit to invest in long-term, I think I will continue upgrading it until lvl 8 and then spread onto a little bit of Awareness & Bank (maybe post lvl15 when I can start earning good $). Then maybe a bit on Crit % chance.
Some of the guys in my faction also mentioned Addiction could be a good one too, to combat some of the Xanax OD effects, that also is probably a priority once I can consistently afford Xanax.
I appreciate the advice from everyone, thank you! :)
Geelong are only slight favourites (1.80) after gaining the weeks rest advantage by winning first week of the finals, Brisbane grinded out a win last week and are playing Geelong away from home. If i was setting the odds I'd put Geelong more in the 1.35-1.45 range.

I'm a relatively new player (approx 1.5mths into Torn), my stats are still building but I'm online daily. Looking for a company willing to provide regular training.
Looks like there is no sell on fee until Feb, will the Bazaar point option in the Points Building still mean holders wont ever need to pay the Sell Fee still?
