Yes, however; you are going to want to upgrade other cars for specific tracks right? Spending extra points you don't need to spend on fully upgrading every car like this WILL add up over time and put you behind where you would probably like to be. I mean you do you, and upgrade what you want, but after upgrading 5 cars being 50 or so points behind building a 6th would kind of suck IMO.
