I’m constantly failing almost every crime attempt for any type, especially while trying to case a house for buglury. One time I failed 7 times in a row for casing. And also for scamming. Any ideas?

I just used 5 DVDs getting ready for a happy jump, but when I looked at the happiness meter it was just sitting at 1000, the log said I used all 5 and 2,500 happiness was added, and I have a full booster cooldown, but there’s no extra happiness, used a ecstasy to see if it was just a visual glitch and it just doubled the 1000 that I already had and nothing else. I didn’t wait a long time between using the DVDs or anything, I think the whole sequence was like 30 seconds, I’d like to know if I can get reimbursed for the DVDs because that was kinda a lot of money and I’m broke rn
I was doing a happy jump using dvds and when after using the fifth one I popped an ecstasy but it didn’t double my happiness it just added like 7000. I checked the logs I don’t think i messed anything up but if it is a bug I feel kinda cheated, I don’t really have the income to throw away 5 dvds
