2. Sharing Strategies : Pool resources with faction    - Track who has what    - Coordinate purchases    - Set up lending systems

5. Planning & Execution 📋

The Planning Phase

Let’s dive deep into how planning works:

  1. Initial Join
  • Check your success rates first!
  • Verify item requirements
  • Confirm time commitment (don't fly when the crime is ready to initiate)
  • Join the appropriate slot

            2. During Planning

  • Monitor progress
  • Acquire needed items

Execution Phase 📋

Now comes the exciting part - actually running the crime! Let me walk you through what happens when your OC is ready to roll.

the crime action is pretty much automated so you don't need to do anything but you need to coordinate before the OC to make sure every has high success chance and all obtained needed items

Here's something that catches a lot of people off guard: if anyone's in the hospital or jail, your crime won't start. Same goes for if someone's off flying around the world. I've seen plenty of crimes get delayed because someone decided to take an impromptu vacation! So make sure everyone's in town and healthy before you begin.

Once you're actually in the crime, it's pretty much automatic as I stated earlier, but the new checkpoint system is actually pretty forgiving. If you miss a checkpoint, don't panic! There's often a recovery path that can get you back on track.

The secret weapon in all of this? Communication before the OC! Keep in touch with your team throughout the crime. Let them know if you're having trouble with a checkpoint (if others in your team have high chance sometimes it's okay if you have below 75 checkpoint pass rate.. you have to confirm this with your faction leader though). I've seen so many crimes succeed just because the team was talking to each other and working together.

One last tip: don't get discouraged if things go wrong on your first few tries. Every failure is just a chance to learn something new about how the system works. Some of my best OC strategies came from figuring out what went wrong in previous attempts!

Cool Extra Features You Might Not Know! 🌟

1. Staging Multiple OCs You can have several crimes running at once by:

     • Starting with partial teams

     • Completing individual planning

     • Filling remaining slots strategically

     • Managing multiple timers

Tips From My Experience 💡

1. Don’t Fear High-Level Crimes    Even with lower stats, you might surprise yourself! I’ve seen teams succeed with average CPRs.

2. Track Your Progress    Keep notes on which roles work best for your stats. I’ve found that…

6. Checkpoint System 🎯

Let's talk about how checkpoints work in OC 2.0! This is where things get really interesting.

Understanding Checkpoints

Each OC has multiple checkpoints throughout the crime. Think of them as critical moments where your team's skills get tested. Here are all the different types you'll encounter:

Mainline Checkpoints :

  • These are your primary path to success
  • Found in the main branch of the crime
  • Gives you the highest possible payout
  • Failing here isn't game over - you might get recovery options!

Recovery Checkpoints :

  • Your second chance after a mainline failure
  • Usually lets you hop right back to the main path
  • Often keeps your full payout intact
  • Think of it as your safety net

Lenient Checkpoints :

  • Usually found at the start of crimes
  • Gives you multiple chances to recover
  • Perfect for learning the ropes
  • Most common in levels 1-3

Critical Checkpoints :

  • These are the make-or-break moments
  • Failing means a different path with lower rewards
  • Found more often in high-level crimes
  • Pay extra attention to these!

Determinant Checkpoints :

  • Can end your crime right then and there
  • Usually shows up after failing other checkpoints
  • Sometimes appears in the main branch
  • Success means a slightly lower payout

NOTE: THIS IS WHAT WE SAW WITH CHECKPOINTS NO OFFICIAL DOCUMENT YET! TO MAKE SURE YOU CAN REPLAY YOUR CRIME OR REPLAY FAILED CRIMES TO DOUBLE CHECK THE INFORMATION ABOVE

7. Success Rates & Stats 📊

Let's break down exactly what affects your success rates!

Battle Stats Impact

STR and DEF :

  1. Crucial for Muscle and Enforcer roles
  2. Seems to cap around 1B combined stats
  3. Primary factor for combat-focused positions
  4. Keep grinding even after hitting the cap!

DEX :

  1. Your best friend for Thief and Picklock roles
  2. Helps with anything requiring careful hands
  3. Works great with theft-based crime skills
  4. No known hard cap yet

SPD :

  1. Essential for Sniper and quick-action roles
  2. Combines well with DEX for theft roles
  3. Helpful for escape-focused checkpoints
  4. Keep building it alongside other stats

Work Stats Magic

END :

  1. Helps with physical endurance roles
  2. Particularly good for Muscle positions
  3. Exact impact still being researched
  4. Worth investing in for long-term success

INT :

  1. Perfect for deception-based roles
  2. Crucial for Negotiator and Impersonator
  3. Combines well with social crime skills
  4. Keep pushing it higher!

MAN :

  1. Still a bit mysterious
  2. Seems to help with team-based roles
  3. More research needed
  4. Don't ignore it completely

8. Advanced Strategies 🧠

Now let's get into the really fun stuff - advanced tactics!

Staging Multiple OCs

Alright, let's talk about some really cool tricks I've learned while playing with OC 2.0! One of the most exciting things I've discovered is how to run multiple OCs at once - it's like juggling, but with crimes!

The real magic happens when you start getting creative with how you set up your crimes. Instead of waiting for a full team, try starting with just a couple of players. Let them work through their planning phase while you keep an eye out for more teammates. It's amazing how many more crimes you can complete when you're running several at once!

Here's something neat I've discovered: timing is everything! Keep track of when your faction mates are finishing up their current OCs - they'll be perfect candidates to fill those empty slots you've been saving. Just make sure you're not blocking any high-level crimes from spawning early on - that's a rookie mistake I learned the hard way!

Now, let's chat about putting together the perfect team. You don't always need everyone to have super high success rates - sometimes a mix of high and moderate rates works just fine! The key is finding that sweet spot where everyone contributes meaningfully to the crime. Think about which roles complement each other, and always have a backup plan in case something goes wrong. Trust me, it's saved my team more than once!

Speaking of planning ahead, let's talk about managing your materials. This is where having a great faction really shines! Instead of everyone scrambling to buy their own stuff, why not pool your resources? Set up a system where everyone knows what items are available and who has what. It's amazing how much money you can save when you work together! Plus, it's way less stressful than trying to hunt down that one rare item at the last minute.

The best part about all these strategies? They make OCs way more fun! When you're working together, planning ahead, and helping each other out, even the tougher crimes become exciting challenges instead of frustrating roadblocks. I've seen factions transform their OC game just by implementing some of these ideas.

Just remember - these aren't hard rules, they're more like guidelines that have worked well for me and my faction. Feel free to adapt them to fit your own style! The most important thing is finding what works best for your team.

OC 2.0: A Friendly Guide From Your Fellow Criminal ·

very good question!

the very short answer is yes and no, it's more complicated than that.

from the information we know and we can see every person has it's own success rate, for example, your checkpoint pass rate (CPR) is 99,  and mine is 20.

Now the thing is, from what we see from replaying the OC, your CPR doesn't get mixed with mine or any other faction member in the same crime, so by 20 it means I have 20% CPR if i fail my checkpoint then the team has another chance, we can see that another member tries the same thing (kinda) and if he failes as well then we go even lower in terms of success which in my experience results in a failed mission after 3 or 4 failed checkpoints.

or another example

as I stated, we can see, for example, I fail one task, then the system will change the route to the next random person (not 100% sure it's random)

I believe the best strategy for now is that we try as much as possible to let the guys with closer CPR join up i rarely saw people with 20 30 CPR  do a successful crime even considering their teammates in OC was 80 90 + CPR (I'm not saying it doesn't happen at all but it's risky for a 5 day crime all that wait to only result in fail feels bad).

I would suggest personally lower CPR in higher level OCs have a better chance at lower level crimes, even if they fail, the wait time for that crime is short, so they can try again

OC 2.0: A Friendly Guide From Your Fellow Criminal ·

You don’t have to do anything what i tried to imply was that your character is doing everything and talked as your character (the reason is i tried to make the guide more fun to read instead of boring cause it’s long but i can see it was a wrong decision since it’s causing confusion ), only join and get the items needed for the role you chose

I do understand maybe some parts are understood wrong or i didn’t choose the right words for it that’s why i wrote work in the progress on top, but this nonsense about chat gpt and AI is wrong, if you have any questions i can answer why did i write it down and of course I’ve read beehoe and Emforus information as well and used it in this! what do you mean really? + most of the things you are calling nonsense is a shared knowledge between beehoe and Emforus posts!!! BUT you had some good points there like vehicle that i’ve missed i’ll update it thank you

Yes it does, if your CE is high then it means you have higher natural NNB as well which certainly has effects on check point success rate, but to what extension we don’t know yet
