Welcome to Torn City! You’ve stumbled upon one of the most mysterious aspects of the game — junk selling. You’re finding all this random stuff at the Dump and thinking, "Who in their right mind would buy this trash?" Well, welcome to the chaotic world of Torn!

Here’s why people buy your so-called “useless junk”:

  1. Mission Madness: Some tasks require weird stuff like random junk, and let’s face it, no one wants to go digging through the Dump when they can just buy it off you. The more oddball stuff you sell, the more likely someone’s going to snap it up like it's the last pack of toilet paper during a pandemic.

  2. The Profit Game: Some players are basically market sharks. They’ll grab that cheap stuff from you, throw a few extra dollars on it, and sell it again. It’s like flipping houses, but with random junk. It’s not pretty, but it works.

  3. Collector’s Item?: Believe it or not, there are collectors in Torn who want to hoard everything. They probably have a room full of rubber bands and empty cans. If it’s an item, it’s worth collecting. Yes, people buy junk just to make their collection look more “complete.” Don't ask why, they just do.

  4. The Newbie Effect: New players often buy things without realizing what they need, so your junk might be exactly what they’re looking for. They don’t know the value yet, so they buy it for fun (or maybe because they accidentally clicked the wrong button).

So, while it may seem like you’re just selling junk, you're actually contributing to the beautifully bizarre economy of Torn City. Keep up the good work — you’re a small part of the junk trade empire!

Torn City Survival Guide: Lessons Learned the Hard · · 10 likes

Hey Torn City fam,

I just wanted to take a moment to share my journey in this amazing game we all love. When I first joined, I was a total newbie. I had no clue how to make money, win fights, or even where to start. Let’s just say my early days were filled with hospital trips and not-so-great crimes. 😅

But here I am now, leveling up, making progress, and finally feeling like I’m getting the hang of things. Here are some tips and funny lessons I’ve learned along the way that might help newer players (or at least give the veterans a laugh):

  1. Don’t try to mug someone richer than you. You’ll end up in the hospital wondering what went wrong.

  2. Join a faction early! The bonuses, advice, and friendships are game-changing.

  3. Never underestimate the power of happy pills and Xanax. My stats wouldn’t be where they are without them.

  4. Invest in stocks wisely. Shoutout to all the players who’ve hit it big with PI or stock perks—teach me your ways!

The best part about Torn City isn’t just leveling up or making money; it’s the people. Whether it’s your faction mates helping you strategize, random players giving advice in forums, or even a good ol’ war, this community is what makes it special.

To all the experienced players out there: What’s the best piece of advice you’d give to someone like me, still trying to climb the ladder? Drop your wisdom below—I’m all ears!

And to my fellow newbies: Keep grinding, take your losses in stride, and don’t be afraid to ask for help. This city can be brutal, but it’s worth it.

If you’ve made it this far, thanks for reading! Hit that like button if you’ve ever ended up in the hospital because of a failed crime. Let’s see how many of us share the same struggle! 😂

Cheers,

Zen
