Hi peeps, new to Torn but not entirely new to what Torn is, because back in highschool my friends and I made our own game something similar that we played with each other on invision free message boards (I'm that old) and I'm still learning to navigate the is and outs of the community and what you can and cannot do in game. My first few days on here I was getting messages from veteran players offering some kind of trade, or to help me out early on with money. Yesterday I got a message anonymously from someone organizing a Christmas wish user run event. Now other than the obvious 'dont click links you don't trust' and 'dont share your password with anyone' are there any tells I should look for that'll tell me if a player is just trying to to get help to farm exp, or if they're genuinely trying to be a volunteer game ambassador?
