Grit - Decreases critical hit damage taken by 1% for each point on first critical. At max merit, also gives one last random attack after being hospitalized.
Bounty - Increase bounty rewards and mission rewards by 0.5% for each point.
Scarred - Reduces damage from burn, poison and radiation by 1% for each point.
Bruised - Reduce melee damage taken by 1% for a number of turns equal to each point.
Mangled - Reduce explosion damage taken by 0.5% for each point.
