It actually works as intended in Edge so I guess it's just an Opera GX issue, thank you for the help.
yes, well im in the private window in opera GX which I believe is the equivalent of incognito.
as far as scripts and extensions go, I dont know what scripts are and I dont think private window has extensions because all those option disappear in private mode.
