I've recently had my head in the book for Labyrinth: The Adventure game. (based on Jim Hensons Labyrinth
It's a beautiful book and the game is all contained in the one book and 2 dice that comes with it.
everything is done using d6's and the DM is The Goblin King and we make a character sheet as well.
I was struggling with fully understanding some parts of the game but after reading through it more or less start to finish it makes more sense.
The only other ttrpg i've purchased but never gotten close to playing was a game called Ork! The Roleplaying Game (2nd edition)
Both of these games books are fairly small and I think could be picked up pretty quickly by an experienced DM.
I've played a tiny lil bit of vampire the masquerade aaand a small taste of Savage Worlds - I think Savage Worlds was pretty good too.
There is actually so much out there and according to a lot of people it might be worth getting into Pathfinder to completely replace dnd
While Checking the names of these games i came across a game called Skate Wizard RPG which i would LOVE to get my hands on hahaha
