In this guide I am going to explain 4 basic methods/adjustments of making money while you are under level 15 to give you the fastest start to the game possible. People with more experience, please feel free to add/correct in the replies.

1. Selling Ls / Slutting

This method relies on other players paying you to attack them and lose the fight on purpose to give them experience. From my own experience, this can pay up to 350k per loss, and so this can be a crucial source of making money in the early game. If you are interested in doing this, you can either do it through advertising yourself on the trade chat or through discord servers which help find contracts for you.

If you want to do this, I'd join Nebula Corp's Discord server at https://discord.gg/qSvCg9Yh9b  and follow these steps:

1. Go to #roles-assignment and select 'Loss Seller' from the drop down
2. Go to #referral-records and paste 'Referred by Propanity [3550013]'

    

    

3. Go to #loss-system and type /l-register (l as in lost) - this will ask you for an API key and this API key must be a Limited Access key for it to work. You can get yours by clicking your profile picture in the top right -> settings -> API keys -> Create new key -> Limited Access key
4. Once you are registered, you will need to wait for someone to buy a contract (these are usually filled with hundreds of losses that multiple players can claim) and after that you can use /l-claim [amount] to claim a number of losses you are able to do in the next 30 minutes (keep in mind each loss will use up 25 energy and put you in hospital for 20-30 mins, so you may only want to do one at a time)
5. Each loss you claim and complete in the time frame will get you $350k, so with 100 energy you can make 1.4m (minus any costs of first aid kits etc if you are using them to get out of hospital quicker)
6. Payouts are given at random times throughout the day so you can't be mugged by other players for you earnings. Also note that there is not always a contract going on, so keep your eye on when people are able to claim again and make sure you get in on the action.

There are ways to increase your earnings, for example using Xanax to gain an extra 250 energy which means you can earn another 10 losses which I can explain further if people are unsure. 

I double checked with staff and this is not against any of the rules.

2. Buying NPC, Selling on Market

Very simple and guaranteed profit at the start of the day. Go to City and then either Bits n Bobs or Sweet Shop. From there buy 100 beer, bricks or lollipops (whichever's selling for the most on the market) and then sell them straight on the market. This is an easy way to get an extra 70-80k a day.

3. Trading on the market

You will have seen people telling you how to trade on the market. Now that you've got some starting cash from selling a few losses you can bulk buy items at a cheaper price and then sell them at a higher price later in the day. The best items to buy are on the first page of the market you open as these are 'hot' items which are bought and sold frequently. In particular I find that the following items are good to trade in as they buy and sell quite quickly (think about your budget, only buy the more expensive ones if you have a good starting balance):

Beer

Bricks

Lollipops

Blank DVDs

Vicodin

Coin Purse

Old wallet / Card Holder

Clutch / Zip Wallet

Billfold

NOTE: You'll start to understand the values you should buy and sell at for these items and make your own decisions the more you look on the market. This method requires a bit of time and commitment.

TIP: I've found that in general, things are cheaper in the mornings and then by the evening have risen (I assume as more people are playing the game and therefore buying at that time). 

4. Doing the correct crimes

This method is not as crucial but it may be worth considering the best crimes to do as when you don't have much in the early game this can add to your capital for you to do more trading.

I'd say the best way to make money in the early game from crimes is pickpocketing. There are other guides on how to be more successful in this and which people are best to pickpocket. Ideally you will get items such as wallets/purses/card holders etc which can be sold for a good chunk on the market.

I'd also set up card skimmers earlier on as they take time to collect card info.

5. Ranked Wars

Ranked wars are a way to make a huge amount of cash. While they can be hard in the very early game as you have very low stats, they can quickly become your biggest source of income. To get into a ranked war you will need to be part of a faction.

It’s important to choose the right faction for this so you will be matched up with other factions that have players you can beat (I.e might be better to join a lower ranked faction). 

Factions also provide different perks so make sure to check what they’ve got before joining. This could include free Xanax for training, free point refills for energy/nerve, armour sets and more.
