Joined Torn as it looked fun and wanted something to fill in the gaps during the day. Sure beats snacking. Now in danger of being consiumed by the game in a nice way. As in have a written book with all the things i want to achieve.
But everydays a school day for an idiot in torn. Never knew you could open wallets and purses, or that you could place more than one skimmer a day. Just noticed the energy and nerve bar dont move quicker no matter how long you stare at them. i guess I should enjoy each new day as an adventure, and try and get out more. Anyone else play this a little more than is healthy ?
How do players accumulate so many items. Went to buy a card skimmer and one guy has 5000 for sale. What's the benefit of holding onto the items instead of selling when you have more than you need.
Is there any value or benefit of purses or wallets. When I mug someone they are easy to sell but dont know what people use them for. Or are there a lot of Oliver Twists in training.
Im not on the spectrum, but compile lists for everything I do, including torn. How many items bought and sold, inventory lists, good days, bad days in TC. Gym stats, wish list of items , enhancers etc.
Whilst you can obviously ask questions in NPC I would avoid appearing too naive or giving away too much money. Some people cant resist if you say what shall I do with my first million. In about 5 minutes it will no longer be an issue.
I found people very helpful, but some things you need to just learn.
