Any way to exclude the field trip mission if a user has excluded themselves from the casino? I could have declined it, I suppose. But I also didn't want to waste a day of missions.

There may be occasions where customers who have self-excluded are able to gamble. It is the responsibility of the gambling business to put procedures in place to prevent this from happening.
If you have gambled whilst self-excluded you should let the gambling business know as it helps them to identify any areas where their procedures could be improved.
You may also wish to let us know as it provides useful information about whether gambling business procedures are working.
My issue was letting the gambling business know (Torn) of an area where it could have been improved. Maybe we should let the UK gambling commission know about it?
I'm the OP of that article and didn't really mean for it to blow up or cause such a discussion.
TL;DR: This is an issue, not a suggestion. The policy is discriminatory at worst, ignorance at best.
It's clear there needs to be a proper definition of Issue versus Suggestion, because it's obviously quite opaque. As someone that works with github/gitlab/jira issues daily, this appeared to be more of an issue rather than a quality of life suggestion. If they open sourced the code, I'd even make a pull request and do the work for them. Alas, it's not. So my perspective was a technical one without all the required information to make a proper issue post.
A Tangent: I'm honestly, quite saddened by the response of the community, the devs, and the creator that lacks such empathy for people that may be suffering from real addiction issues. Gambling is a serious one and will likely be the 'smoking' of our time. It is also much different compared to other addictions that requires an external substance to drive said physiological responses that drive the addiction.
In the community, it is really sad to see so many ignorant individuals blame the addict. I can only implore you that you read some literature surrounding this issue and know that someone in your own personal life (mother, daughter, wife, husband, brother, sister) could be silently suffering with this debilitating disease. Would you treat them the same? Probably not. Here are some resources for ignorant:
There's a lot to unpack here from the amount of logical fallacies being employed (e.g., "Just decline the mission bro!") to the wild chedburn assertion "It will be gamed by min-maxing" without providing any evidence this was the case. In fact, this appears to be counter intuitive to all the other posts saying that declining the mission is not a big deal because "it only comes once about every 100 days". In fact, I'd accepted about 8 in the times i've accepted since logs were instantiated. I'm not sure how many I've decline and this is the first time I've come across it in self-exclusion. So if I'm gaming the mission system from an event that was accepted 8 times in 6 years, then something is fundamentally broken in the mission system. It goes beyond without saying anything about addiction issues and speaks volumes about the intentions of the developers.
What the Devs et al. are saying is that the end, "Fixing the potentiality of gaming the mission systems" justifies the means, "Provide a disclaimer without fixing the real issue: A broken RNG mission system" that has the real-world potential to affect relapse onto someone.
P.S. I self excluded as a goodwill gesture to a friend that loaned me money to fill out a stock-block, hence seeing this after 7100 days of playing.

This is an interesting concept to me. Especially considering lesser used weapons (e.g., the Anti-tank or RPG). Any of the heavy artillery categorized weapons.
This could be further enhanced (blast radius damage or the amount of damage done to enemies as it scales) through merits or built into the defense stat generally.
It seems like these weapons are underutilized as it is (heavy artillery) at least in my experience in RW - which is minimal compared to most.
