How its going for me rn
I just came back and I (highly) regret switching to crimes 2.0. I had ergonomic keyboard, all educations etc for Hacking in 1.0, and starting fresh, that consistent 250k for 18 nerve multiple times a day was so big to me. Now I'm grinding bootlegging for pennies a week later. Would most definitely trade the 30 merits back from switching for awhile until my networth is decent and I have a PI again...
My faction recommended I switch but did not realize how poor I was for my account age and level starting again

Sometimes, they're totally inconsistent. My match started early but I had my bets in well before the match started. But they still refunded me even though I would have won all 3. Frustrating.

Sure. But my networth is about 100m coming back to the game and I was definitely part of the smaller % where hacking was far more profitable, since i had all the education and items buffing it . I never thought I would come back to the game after 10 years or that it would still be around

I spammed hacking back then and for the first week I came back. $200k-300k every 18 nerve with like 95% successs rate, and nothing being consumed like the current crimes. That's definitely not awful, when I'm reading the threads about how complicated the new arson is and like $10,000 per nerve profit when the per nerve profit was definitely better just spamming my hackings.
