Joining big factions as a new player is a bad idea · · 1 like

I'll just leave this one message in this thread. This is speaking from my experience as a new player who joined a big faction.

 

Just got kicked from a faction I was in (BoW - 4.20) for "not ready for war"

 

That faction had wars twice a month. I'm not on Torn enough to level up that fast between wars.

 

tbf, I remember getting recruited when I was like level 7-8 for some reason, along with others around my level. They all either leveled up fast or got kicked out long before I did.

 

Anyways, 2 wars later and they realized why having an under leveled player who is only able to participate in chains and isn't chronically online enough to participate in wars was a bad idea.

 

At least I get to play at my own pace now. In hindsight, I should not have joined that faction, but hindsight's 20/20, I'll probably join another faction in the future when I have the time and stats to do it.

I haven't been online in over a year. Selling my faction (well technically it isn't mine I was just offline for so long that everyone left and I just got defaulted to owner) for like 2 million or something idk.
