Anyone can trade in Torn—in this guide, I'll show you how to buy low, sell high, and maximize profits from the bazaar—whether you're just starting out or have some experience and want to take it to the next level.

There are many ways to make money in Torn. Some of them require large amounts of cash (e.g., becoming a Trader) and some are based on basic, well-known strategies (flying, buying items in town).
You can find methods that suit your individual financial capabilities, but I'd like to focus on speeding up the basic flipping process using bazaar. There's a good chance that some of you are familiar with what I'm writing about. However, if you're interested in flipping and looking for a way to improve the process, here I am, and I'd love to share something with you. And maybe you'll find something for yourself.
I'm not reinventing the wheel, but the following technique aims to make the rims shine and the tires look dazzling.
Due to its simplicity, and depending on the items you choose to base your strategy on, I wouldn't consider this method your main source of income, but rather a simple way to supplement your current activities with an additional, low-cost solution (both in terms of money and time). Especially if your adventure in Torn is just beginning or you just lack a high income. Because never forget:
“If it makes money, it makes sense”
Requirements:
- Bazaar
You need a bazaar to sell your products (located in the Points Building and costing 250 points) as this will be your main sales channel:
Points can be earned in several ways – purchasing a subscription, opening a Donator Pack, inviting players to play (for every 10 levels gained), or simply by purchasing them from the Points Market.
If you decide that you want to flip the items on Item Market, you can, but it involves certain risks, which I wrote about at the end.
- Any amount of cash in reserve
To function efficiently, you need any amount of cash (not including the resources donated to purchase the bazaar). The larger the reserve, the more pieces you can flip – with a small amount of cash, turnover will be visible, but in the long run. - A small amount of time
Once you master this technique, the time allocated to implementing it will be short, as it will become a routine.
What's the point?
The technique is based on the classic buy low / sell high model.
A useful tool that can support such activities is undoubtedly integration with Weav3r, which will directly show you the best deals on the products you're looking for while browsing Item Market:

Additionally, being logged on Weav3r ensures that your bazaar will appear on the list and that players using this tool will see your bazaar offers, which will attract the attention of people looking to buy specific products.
Okay, but what should I sell then?
Focus on a single product. As you scale, you can expand your offerings, but managing a single product is easier (at least in the beginning). You can easily add a product card to your favorite bookmarks in your browser or have the Item Market tab for that product open in Torn PDA (which also supports Weav3r). Additionally, you can add a tab to your cards that will allow you to withdraw money more quickly (depending on where you keep your savings). This will speed up browsing through offers and buying them.
Item selection depends on two options:
- Cheaper items = lower profit
- More expensive items = higher profit
However, when choosing the right product from the first category, if demand for that product is high, sales will be more frequent. Focusing on items used in crimes or supporting the character (e.g., healing, nerve regeneration, combat) is usually the best solution.
Examples:
- Bottle of beer (nerve)
- Brick (disposal, temporary weapon)
- Lollipop (happiness)
- Morphine (health)
- Gasoline (arson)
- Pepper spray (fighting)
Additional value comes from choosing items that are available not only on the item market but also in the city (e.g., bottle of beer, brick, lollipop). You can buy 100 of them daily for a noticeable lower price.
How do I do this?
Determine a price list that will get you started. Let's say you choose a bottle of beer — an item that will always be popular because its use restores 1N.
The main rule is to buy everything that's below the value you're offering in your bazaar (when browsing Weav3r). Any profit, even the smallest, with a large quantity means money you didn't have before. You don't have to buy every single piece in the bazaar*, but for every item, there will be offers offering even a hundred or several hundred pieces at low prices that you're interested in selling later. It all depends on how much time you plan to dedicate to this activity.
* this might only make sense if you are flipping high value products, e.g. Featherly Hotel Coupon but if you are reading this guide, you are probably not interested in products from this shelf (at least not yet).
Sell at a slightly lower price than the market value at first (e.g., 1% or 2% lower). As you run your business, you'll learn how a given product's turnover is and you'll be able to adjust your price based on market conditions.

It's just a few clicks and a moment of time, which you repeat several times a day. I will write it once more - don't waste time on small purchases (one or two pieces). Aim for purchases of at least a dozen, several dozen or even hundred of pieces- unless the deal is quite good.
Remember that people often buy for higher prices just because someone offers a large quantity, rather than buying small quantities just because the price is slightly lower. Therefore, remember to always invest in stocking the product you're offering. If you start operating on a larger scale and with large volumes, there is nothing stopping you from slightly exceeding the market price.
For example, if you manage to buy 2000 products, add almost all of them to the bazaar. Almost, because despite the large quantities, they are often bought in one bulk (especially for such cheap items). Add, for example, 1900 to have 100 pieces in inventory to avoid your bazaar being completely empty – this can discourage potential customers, especially as your bazaar gains popularity.
If you manage to accumulate a stockpile of several thousand pieces, divide them into bundles. Add a lot, but not everything. This will ensure a better flow of your activities. You sell all = you add anything and check several times a day to see if any bazaars / item market deals have appeared that can increase your resources.
Keep buying and increase quantity in your bazaar. Sooner or later, everything will sell out.
How can I support the growth of my side hustle?
- Informing your friends, faction members, and company members about your business;
- Creating a thread on the Trading Post forum;
- Advertising your bazaar with a link in the Trade chat;
- Add an ad on your Profile and Forum signature leading to your bazaar;
- This requires more commitment, but it works – prepare a thank-you message. Every time someone buys anything in your bazaar, send them a simple message thanking them for their purchase and encouraging them to add your bazaar to their favorites for next deals;
- List yourself on Torn Exchange and offer to purchase the product you are focusing on:
Why can't I sell these items on the Item Market? Prices are often higher than what I can offer on the bazaar.
You can, but be smart about it. Remember that selling larger quantities will net you a significant cash infusion. Buymugging also happens in the bazaar, but it's certainly less common than selling on the Item Market. This means that people monitoring the Item Market listings often hunt down and mug players who have just sold a significant number of pieces.
Remember that item market collects sales tax - if you decide to sell through this source, be sure to adjust your price accordingly so you don't lose out.
Also remember that selling through the item market slightly disrupts the passive nature of this solution because it requires more attention from you (e.g. monitoring prices, which looks slightly different in the context of selling at the bazaar, or, in the case of a larger number of pieces, keeping an eye on the hospital during inactivity to avoid buymugging).
Noteworthy:
- If you have listed a lot of pieces, consider closing the bazaar overnight (if they sell out, you risk a mug).
- Don't focus on too many items, at least not initially. Understand the process, the specific product you're starting with, adjust your strategy, and grow. As the old saying goes, "if you're good at everything, you're good for nothing". Focusing on everything won't achieve the same level of effectiveness as focusing on individual products.
- When flipping cheap items, don't give up because of low earnings. Note that even if you manage to raise your first 500k by devoting just a few minutes a day, this is already something that will allow you to scale your operations.
- Don't be afraid to play with price. If you want to test whether a price change (including fluctuations in the item market) will have an effect, increase it and monitor it. Just remember to set a price you'll return to if your plan fails, and don't buy products that exceed this price during this time.
- Selling on Item Market is definitely possible, but be careful, as I mentioned earlier. Be careful not to let your profits turn into losses.
- Optimization - remember, if you buy something, you don't have to list it on the bazaar immediately. You can save time and add them in your baazar at once after a few bargain-hunting sessions (especially if your bazaar already has some stuff for sale).
Who knows, in the end you might grow an empire from a small business. Don't try to grab everything at once, but at some point you might look for a strategy that will allow you to cross-sell within a specific product group (in the case of bottle of beer, this could include other types of alcohol). Limit yourself only at the beginning – spread your wings, become a master at what you do.
Is it really worth it?
You'll have to answer that question for yourself – try it and see. Personally, I see a value in it, especially since it really doesn't take much time, and that's what is also pretty important to me. For this example, as I focus on selling Gasoline, here are a few high volume logs from last two days:
- You sold 10000x Gasoline on your bazaar to XXXX at $863 each for a total of $8,630,000
- You sold 3258x Gasoline on your bazaar to XXXX at $863 each for a total of $2,811,654
- You sold 6683x Gasoline on your bazaar to XXXX at $859 each for a total of $5,740,697
- You sold 2137x Gasoline on your bazaar to XXXX at $859 each for a total of $1,835,683 (I wink at Polish players with this one)
- You sold 2000x Gasoline on your bazaar to XXXX at $859 each for a total of $1,718,000
