Torn logo is offset by 2 pixels too much to the left.

Its fixed. Ctrl+shift+R on Firefox and Ctrl+F5 on Chrome to empty cache and reload.

Since a few days, to click on an icon in the sidebar to go to the associated page, you need to click twice on them.

I'm using Firefox on Windows.

I thought it was an addon at first, but on disabling them it still occurs.

Might be related to the deployment of patch:

In the recent newsletter, all images seem to contain extra characters that bork the img src tag. Style is affected too.

For example:

Don't know if this is just for me. Other e-mails with images load just fine.

Edit: in addition; torn.com is on my whitelist and is allowed to load images.

Same here. With or without addons.

Someone done goofed the CSS. If 'float: left;' is added back to #sidebarroot its fixed. It seems its missing now.

I've figured it out.

My laptop has a touch screen input device, which enables this for web browsers too. Firefox reports it to the website that the page is being visited on a touch-enabled device. Torn handles this differently. Probably unintentionally.

Upon disabling touch screen completely (as in, disabling the device in my device manager) and then restarting Firefox, Torn doesnt do this anymore.

A bit of additional information;

On my desktop pc at home, things seem to work as normal. I only have to single-click on the icons there.
Same OS, same browser. No differences in versions nor settings.

I've started to compare all settings related to blocking external content, turning all blocking off. I've checked in the developer console if additional stuff loads and I just can't see any major differences. I've even tried different DNS servers, maybe CDNs that load in different versions of libraries, but to no avail.

No extra processes running in the background or anything that hook into Firefox. Its only happening on the sidebar icons. Pretty edge-case.



Edit: I have found a difference in behaviour. When I view the page in mobile view (ctrl+shift+m), the bug doesn't happen and I can single-click on the icons. I've tested if viewport size mattered, but haven't found any difference in behaviour there.



(Unrelated; I see a 404 on https://www.torn.com/images/v2/racing/your_cars/divider_leave_race_change_car.svg on the racing page, where I was testing mainly)

This is indeed an issue with all icons. It also happens in incognito mode.

It might have happened before, but I can't check. I have deleted older newsletters.

Any way we could test this? Sending an older newsletter, sending the current one to a different emailaddress?

Meanwhile I've dug into the servers maillog. Nothing out of the ordinary. Passes SPF checks. Spamassassin seems to agree it's ok.
Could be an Amazon SES thing, not sure.

I run my own dedicated mailserver. Nothing out of the ordinary.

The client I use is Thunderbird.
