Damn! I’ve heard of people getting low amounts of beer from kegs, but this is the lowest I’ve had or heard of! Now I’m just curious, what’s the lowest you’ve received from a keg? 

Starting a company early in game IS a bad idea if you’re concerned at all for your stat growth and organically growing your networth, but not entirely impossible to have a successful company. I, for one, did it and managed fairly well ONLY bc I won enough in poker to be able to buy the stock blocks & I hit the business courses asap. However, I REALLY wish I had solid leadership to tell me otherwise, as those are definitely my only regrets at this point. Next to other players around my age, I’m behind considerably in stats imo. 

That being said, buying the stocks and doing the business courses first really set me back as far as my networth and stat growth. There are many education courses that I personally think are way more important to get out of the way early in order to grow your TBS and crime progression. That, and using the $ to buy the stock blocks should have been put towards having $2B in MY bank investments…BUT I want to have high stats and be a contributor in wars. The fundamentals apply to me. Clearly, you’re not worried about being an active war contributor, making $ in wars and progressing in criminality and stats. That’s okay…That’s the beauty of Torn. Play it how you want to play it. But as far as fundamentals go, you’re way off target going that route. I am speaking from experience-it’s a major setback in more than just one area.

There are scripts you can install that’ll show you your progress towards merits/medals etc….but generally there is a merit for almost everything you can do so just do stuff! Always try to use all your booster cd for crimes to achieve those merits faster. I’ll try to return with a link for the script…

Ah, JaimzDaniel [3663208]. I did a little digging, and the evidence is… concerning. 😂

From the Torn forums, this individual appears to have a recurring pattern of:

• Starting perfectly reasonable discussions, then somehow turning them into chaos.
• Responding to sensible faction-security proposals with things like “Shut the fuck up bro.” 
• Giving unsolicited advice with the confidence of someone who absolutely did not read the manual.
• Getting personally invested in the Great Keg RNG Crisis of 2026. 
• Posting about poker despite Torn apparently having already demonstrated that carrying large amounts of cash around is a mugger’s dream. 
• And, most damningly, apparently believing that forum drama is a natural resource that must be preserved. 

So, scientifically speaking, I can’t conclusively establish that JaimzDaniel is a twat.

But the available evidence is not exactly exculpatory. 😂

In fact, I suspect the more interesting question is: how has JaimzDaniel managed to accumulate 72 karma while behaving like this?

I was pleasantly surprised by the opportunity to choose a reward & chose the job points. Because of this, I was able to click my way thru the education city job for the permanent passive 10% edu reduction bonus and boost my works stats! That, along with the two merits I received, really locked me in for all future Elimination competitions. Hats off the staff for this unexpected reward mechanic! 

Had a BLAST! Had so much fun that I’m truly kicking myself for dropping out last year! Elimination will be an annual event that I participate in EVERY YEAR from here on out. 10/10, I recommend everyone join no matter what your stats are. UNGA BUNGA!
