I am fortunate to have made several friends among the 2 digit IDs on Torn. We will start seeing more players reach this major milestone in the next few days.

I know the original ID 73 managed to get me to play the game after handing me bananas carved up to look like phones for a week or so. I eventually asked him to show me the game he kept talking about at work.

Spent a year in Sweden during my teens. It was often sighed in affection when something caught my attention that my friends thought was mundane or perhaps childish. They would usually amuse me or explain. 

 

Started using it as a username after my hear abroad and it's just stuck ever since. It seems to suit my somewhat quirky personality.

Pretty brush pens, stickers, washi and notebooks.... or buying DPs... hmmmmmmmmmm.....

Would it be possible to perhaps include the version number of our spreadsheets (perhaps going forward) under the time and date info. That way we know if we should seek you out for the update?

(I know I recently repurchased and I'm honestly not sure what version mine is)

Thank you for this. I honestly never would have thought to connect recent PC issues with torn. I have an 8 year old PC and we likely will be replacing it soon. The past week it has been randomly freezing on me. On the occasion I notice fast enough to notice it was starting to crash, my CPU usage % would be through the roof.

I guess with multiple windows open and my chat constantly failing, it was actually making my PC totally non functional.

You actually saved us some money that we really didn't want to be spending right now as we focus on some renovations in our first home. My PC can live another day - though we may still keep the dock that we purchased for my laptop.

Just told hubby and he's laughing at the absurdity of it all.

I just spent nearly 48hrs doing a memory diagnostic test on my PC that we figure is 8ish years old (yes it will likely be replaced soon, but it had been working fine).

I use Brave most of the time when accessing the Internet and my PC would randomly crash. On the occasion I could get in to view my CPU usage % would be through the roof. Never would have thought torn would have been the most likely cause and if anything it has saved me some money as we were trying to decide how best to budget to unexpectedly replace my PC.

Hubby asked if I'd noticed issues since the test we ran, and I indicated no. Coincidentally, I hadn't been actively using torn on it much as it had just finished the memory test. Will clearly have to be very mindful of tabs open from no on until this is properly fixed.

There needs to be an extra month toward the end of the year as the holiday season crept up on me this year.

This was honestly a blast. Even if I couldn't give the was 100% of my attention due to well... buying a house (and starting the long cleaning and moving in process), I enjoyed having the chance to pummel and be pummeled.

Huge shout out to the individual that joined a single attack 21 times (I won't name you cause I enjoyed the chat we had afterwards) for all the defends. Overall the war was a great way to catch up with some people I haven't chatted with in a while.

I honestly love that my husband has an interest in the hobby. Both my father and grandfather share that hobby. He actually has some hand tools that have been passed onto him from both of them (they're not deceased, just downsizing some and knew he shared the hobby).

No alarm has been set. Chances are I wake up somewhere between 7:30-8:30 as I'm going to assume it's sunny

• (love a good rainy weekend morning too where I snooze until 10 or so, but I realize the chances of the sky being split in half with one side of the room bright and sunny, and the other dark and rainy is pretty slim)

I will have mastered our espresso machine by now and after fixing myself an americano, I'd curl up in the sunroom with a book and take in the quietness of the morning.


A chapter or two later in whatever book I'm currently reading, hubby would have stumbled downstairs (he's not quite the morning person I am) and we'll go about fixing a cooked breakfast - likely a full English style, though I would never turn down the offer of just a stack of fluffy pancakes with some fresh fruit and syrup drizzled on top. The meal will be enjoyed with a latte that has the latest attempt at latte art from hubby on top.

Once breakfast is done and the kitchen is tidied, hubby retreats to his workshop to dabble in whatever his current woodworking project is while I retreat to my creative space/office. After a quiet journaling session, I'll spend some time writing a letter to a loved one before sticking it in a handmade card to mail later in the week. The rest of the morning will be spent on my current painting or calligraphy project. We typically don't have lunch until 1 or 2 pm most days.


Bonus - the afternoon is reserved for couple-time. Be it working on the latest project at our house, grocery shopping together, a board game, or just curling up to a movie.

I REALLY can't wait until this becomes the norm for hubby and me as we will be moving into our first home later this summer. After 4 years of living with the in-laws, I'm ready to enjoy my mornings to the fullest vs. living in a single room where we pretty much do everything.
