I have been thinking about this for a while, and given the latest news were someone accidentally sent the wrong amount to a player, which I dont think happens all to often in factions...
Why can't we send a request to withdraw a certain amount from our balance which is then reviewed by those with faction banking permissions and approved (with a next online setting, if the requstor has gone offline). Its a constant pain having to wait and ask in the faction chat "any bankers online?". It would avoid the double typing ie from the requestor and the banker rekeying it in manually. There would also be a central location for the faction to manage the requests with perhaps a history tab (post approvals) that shows the requestors user name and id, date and time requested, amount, date and time who approved it and optionaly a referance.
We have some built in protections when selling on the market place ie we forget a zero or try to purchase an item that is over priced. I think factions deserve the same mitigations and from a requestor perspective it would be nice if no bankers are online to send a request and recieve it when next online, or if a banker is online at the same time they can approve the request straight away. - Still avoiding double typing etc...
Never been a banker myself, so not sure if there is a verify message displayed confirming the amount and if they want to continue, or if approval thresholds can be set for certain bankers? Ie some bankers are set up to send or approve ammounts up to 10m 50m 1b etc. Is there an in and out for transactions screen? Or is every faction maintaining there own offline spreadsheet? 😆
Seems like an area thats potentially been out of date for a long time and in need of an update. - Could do with some more updates *cough* *cough* #FINISHCRIMES2.0ALREADY! - GTA6 will be out before you guys 😉
