But then, despite that my family think I'm a massive weirdo for obsessively playing a 20 year old text based RPG, wherein I pretend to be a hardened criminal, am married to a man and co-habit on a virtual private island.....

The greatest gift ever? What's gonna happen when I wear it out today and publicly reveal my Torn addiction? Mass adolation from middle aged men? Assaulted by angry RL spouses whose loved ones disappear every weekend for RW? Let's find out...

Let's imagine we care about any type of realistic simulation type stuff....I'd be flying in my PJ using a laptop  / phone to manage my gang. 

Hi. I'm a noob at Torn, just level 6 and the last few days have had a go at selling losses and just want to say that I'm dissappointed by the number of people willing to scam noobs by simply not paying up. 

I won't drop any names but just a general warning to noobs to be careful.

Just an idea..

Maybe creating a crypto scam is already an option and I haven't unlocked it yet? If not, I think it would be a great addition to the crimes. 

Something along the lines of needing to level up computer skills sufficiently, then create the crytpo coin, promote it, get buyers and ultimately rug for profit. As with real world crypto rugs, the profits should be in the millions, if done effectively.

To the brave, anonoymous soul who sent me the above instead of replying in the thread: nothing of the sort has been established with a screenshot to verify. But, i really dgaf and am out of this dumb discussion. 

Morga claims they agreed 40 attacks but in this screenshot provided by Morga, she asks for 40 MORE attacks, so we still don't know how many attacks she originally agreed to pay for. Maybe it was 200? 

Seems to me both sides are shady af.

I kinda like this idea but maybe just a weekend? And toss in a special class of powerful zombie hunter with extra stats and weapons to balance things? 

1 in 11 million chance of a passenger plane crash is pretty good odds, but this is Torn City, where the guy responsible for safety checks is on a  massive Xanax comedown, the pilot is otherwise engaged with a bottle of Love Juice and a flight attendant and the air traffic controller isn't receiving any trains. 

So lets reduce those odds. 1 in a million? 

Thankfully, 95% of plane crash passengers survive, so the consequences are the same as a Xanax OD but get this.....victims receive financial compensation from the airliner! 

But that's passenger jets, what about private flights? Who's to know if that pilot you found sitting at a beach bar in Cayman hasn't just dropped an Ecstacy or has a habit of chugging a few cheap beers with breakfast? 

And finally, what if we added a new flight option....a small plane piloted by a gang drug runner, with a habit of dropping Speed like it's going out of fashion to boost his reactions when evading the authorities....he might arrive as quickly as Business Class, but his plane hasn't had a safety check for 15 years and the chances of a crash are frighteningly likely?

I just read 7 pages of this bizarre, strangely compelling car crash and it's 1:23am, we gonna see a screeny of the original deal or not?

I've been enjoying Torn quite a bit! It's been a great distraction. Whenever I start thinking about playing RuneScape, I just open the game, and it's honestly been really helpful. Tomorrow marks two weeks RuneScape free, and I never would have guessed quitting would be this hard. Hopefully torn is more addicting than RuneScape LOL

Yep. I'm also a new player by Torn standards and what struck me when I began was how friendly and helpful the players I came into contact were. And still are. 

You get what you give, just like RL.
