WickedBrew - Since I'm pretty new to the city and haven't amassed much disposable income, I have only spent about 500 casino tokens in total. I'm not a big gambler irl, so the attraction in game is about the same.
My preferred games are blackjack, slots, and occasionally roulette. I spun the wheel of suck once and got punched in the face, so I don't think I will try my luck on that ever again.

I'm sorry you are feeling this way and dealing with these issues. We all have problems in our lives, and success comes from how we react, manage the stress, and hopefully find resolution.
Be strong for yourself at the very least, and love your child no matter what. Whatever the outcome, things will happen the way they are supposed to, even if it doesn't feel like it in the moment.

I'm glad to see the city doth provide! I have only been playing a short time, but I search the map every day... Often multiple times each day, and all I have found are a couple face masks and a beat up AK-47.🤷♂️

This looks like an amazingly helpful tool! I just wish there was a way to run scripts on mobile. (If there IS a way to do this, I am not savvy enough to figure it out... Hell, I can't even get the PDA app to work correctly on my phone.)
Keep fighting the fight! Good, Bad, whatever fight you're fighting, just stick with it. I'm new to the game too, and I have to say the first weeks ARE a grind. Not knowing that higher happiness correlates to bigger gym gains... Thinking I could jump right in to shoplifting or burglary without doing any of the low level crimes and ending up in jail my second day... (Thanks to whoever payed my bail and sprung me from the joint!)
I was ready to just delete the game and move on to the next time suck, but I started meeting and chatting with other players who gave me items, weapons, armor... For NOTHING! I didn't have to pay them back or do anything in return. I did offer what little I had, but the answer was always the same. "Cheers, Mate! Welcome to Torn City and just pay it forward to the next new player when you can."
I'm not here for the competition, to be the best, richest player...
I'm here because of the people. The people that have helped me out when I had and knew nothing. To those people, Thank you. To the new player, grind it out. Search the garbage can for a rotten banana, or go tag a wall. Eat a handful of candy and hit the gym. Just keep playing and you will eventually win your first attack! Maybe someday start a kick ass faction or take the leap and start a company that people are lining up to join!
This "game" must have something to it for people to have been, and still playing after 18 years.
