My favorite aspect of Torn is the community. Everyone is so kind and willing to help the newbs.
The most remarkable thing that happened was that I joined a start-up company. Then, the founder gave it to me. I was not ready for a company, still not ready. However, watching it improve each day and grow has been the highlight of my recent experience in the game.
When I first started playing, I joined this really laid-back faction. This kid started playing and joined the faction at about the same time. Pretty sure we are only a few days apart. I don't think this guy slept. He was doing back-to-back happy jumps. and helping everyone in the faction. He ended up leaving our small faction to join larger ones; the growth of his game required it. And he has gone on to be one of the most sought-after newbie players in the game. I wish HIM the best of luck in his game - and the best 23rd birthday ever.
