Hi all, I’m a new torn player looking to play torn poker for a bit of fun but I am currently level 4 so i can’t even play yet!

However, as of this year I am a real life poker semi-pro with 90k Aud of live earnings in tournaments and cash. I understand the nuances of the game and can help you navigate your way through torn poker.

I play with a 56% vpip, you can tell im not taking this seriously. Yes i had a 8b downswing, id be cleaning up if i was taking this seirously. Yes you have 20b on me in profits, but lets see the ratio and bb won per hour?

Unblur those stats, why are you so ashed to show them? I don't care about your profits stakers want to know how much you can make them per session in bb/h!

First of all consider if you actually want to play 69 of hearts vs a 3 bet. In a situation where money is not as important (as in this game), people tend to splash and bluff more. You have no need to play marginal hands like that! 

However if you are playing a game with a deep stack (200bb+) I would consider calling against a weak opponent, because these players will stack off with marginal hands! If you do happen to spot a weak/sticky opponent call in and try to flop the nuts.

if you end up flopping the nuts e.g 578. As a general advice, fast play your hand! If your opponent has a naked 6 or a hand like A8 they will call you down. 
This means raising when they bet as the preflop aggressor, to something like 3-5x their bet. On the turn, if they bet again and the nuts doesn’t change, put them all in! 
if they check to you on the turn you need to build the pot yourself. Bet according to the pot size. If they bet large on the flop, size to 3/4- 1.5x pot on the turn. If they call try to get it all in on the river, considering the board texture doesn’t change and you still have ‘the nuts’
