So a suggestion I have is to allow members of factions to access THEIR funds without needing a banker.
It seems it would relieve bankers of the burden of always having to answer requests, and make accessing your funds a much smoother process.
I still think bankers would be needed though. For example, if a member flies abroad and forgets their funds. And to do payouts for wars and OC's.
I also think it would greatly reduce the amount of vault thefts.
One possible downside that I've heard is to the value of the private island vault; My idea would basically make the PI vault worthless as long as you're in a faction. But also not really because you'll never need to worry about vault thefts with a PI vault.
Also there's the concern about making it more difficult to mug someone because they put their money in the faction vault. And in all reality I don't think it would make a difference. People already use the faction vault to protect their money, my suggestion would only allow them to withdrawal their money quicker. So I don't think it would have much of an effect on mugging.
Does anyone have any other thoughts or concerns?

I also thought about muggers, and yeah they would take a hit from my suggestion too. But maybe if we increase the amount you get from mugging by 5%, it might make up for it?? Im mostly trying to iron out this idea for my own self lol. I figured this has been talked about in the past, but I've only been around for a year.
After reading the post you mentioned, my suggestion wouldn't really be that big of a change to the way most people use the faction vault to begin with.
People still put their funds in a faction vault to prevent the amount of money they are mugged for. But my suggestion would just allow them to withdrawal their own money quicker. So maybe my suggestion wouldnt really make much of a negative impact, I think it would make a more positive impact.
Yes and my suggestion would probably lower the amount of vault thefts. Because not as many bankers would be needed. Of course they will still happen, but reducing the number of people with access to everyone's funds in the vault would help. I was suggesting letting each person have access to their OWN money that is in the vault.
